Late to the party on this one George. Didn’t know BPS made a folder. Yep, you sold another knife! This will be my 5th BPS knife. They are great knives.

Yep they do a good job at a very reasonable price. Never late to a party that's still going. Stay safe my friend

Nice video George. Very reminiscent of the sword peasant knives, but a step up in complexity. I believe the upswept tip might be known as a Persian blade or trailing tip.
@2ndchancegeorge2 жыл бұрын
You maybe right. I believe its close to the trailing edge.

Good video, but I think I will stick to a Svord if I get a friction folder because they are cheaper. MERRY CHRISTMAS...Thanks for sharing

It kinda reminds me mushroom knives, but with reversed curve. Could explain why it doesn't need a lock
@2ndchancegeorge Жыл бұрын
You are probably correct. Way back they made these "friction folders" because it was easy to do and putting a lock on it was time and expensive. Really was intended for light duty such as food preparation. So mushroom knife was a good use. Heavy chores would have been done with a fixed blade. Many thanks for watching. Appriciate the support. You be safe out there.

I only have the adventurer from them, but will be buying some of their other blades. Very hard to beat for the price.

Yep pretty good value. 👍 thanks for watching appriciated

Thank you for another great review. I like my BPS knives and I agree with their business philosophy. What I not agree with is that this knife can be used for wood working. I own a handful of Svörd friction folders and, as you said that's not a safe knife for whittling and such.
@2ndchancegeorge2 жыл бұрын
Agree. Little unsafe for me. Thanks for the support. It's appriciated

It's called a trailing point or persian skinner.

Ahh huh. Thankyou. That makes sense. Thanks for watching and the comment. Much appriciated.

Not a fan of this one. Still not legal carry for the Uk. We have to have friction not locking bases with a cutting edge no longer then 3 inch. What I carry for a EDC is a Whitby EDC non locking folder with a drop point with zebra wood scales. Very good little EDC £15.

That's a bummer. But hey sounds like you got a good one for now
