Instead, he read the English translation of it which was done by Max Muller, who was asked by the British colonizers to add the word "caste" in the translation. So, without reading the original scripture, Ambedkar, like a complete idiot, jumped to the conclusion that the Hindu system was defined by casteism. When, in fact, caste was never a concept in our culture and religion. And then he started the whole narrative of Brahmanical oppression, the repercussions of which are still felt by the hard working students of this country who get sidelined just because they belong to the Open/General category, in favor of a less-deserving or not-so-hardworking "Dalit" (another concocted word by Ambedkar) just because he has the reservation of the SC category. Tell me, does this seem fair to you?

@@Bhakti--reaction I don't say discrimination castesim etc happen everywhere but it still happening in many places. All sc/st people are not same, many of them are highly educated and from privileged background. Which type of people, which type of behaviour etc not depends on someone caste, it only depends on education. I myself from Sc category and i faced this discrimination, casteist remarks sometimes only because of my caste ,even I more educated than these casteist peoples in my area. Here I highlighted this issues because I have seen during my school time some of my ST friends who were Hindus but now they called themselves Christians only because of this discrimination they faced. I renounce Hinduism, which disfavors humanity and impedes the advancement and development of humanity because it is based on inequality, and adopt Buddhism as my religion. I firmly believe the Dhamma of the Buddha is the only true religion. I consider that I have taken a new birth. (Alternately, "I believe that by adopting Buddhism I am having a re-birth."[7]) I solemnly declare and affirm that I shall hereafter lead my life according to the teachings of Buddha's Dhamma.
