Dr. Ambedkar's life is exemplary. He had many struggles and had to cross many rivers and climb many mountains created by society because of his birth in a certain cast. In spite of insurmountable obstacles, he rose and achieved the highest educational credentials, and remained a true patriot. However, in spite of his educational accomplishments, he was not perfect and was not all-knowing. He had his own limitations. We must overlook his shortcomings and respect him for his positive contributions to society, the country, and mankind. Thank you.

I am dalit and i read ved, upnishad and geeta. I am also an engineer(admission through general category). that'st what babasaheb wanted that all come under one hindu umbrella. by the way there is no mention of birth based caste system in ved, upnishad. there is no mention of un touchability in sanatan dharm. Manusmriti contains 1000+ verses that were changed by some horrible people (both inside and outside). also Manusmriti holds no authority. only ved and upnishad are praman(authority)
