My santro gls has this problem. Even after replacing brake shoes, must press pedal too far to stop. It’s called “play”. Another similar car car responds instantly, i.e. with a travel of 1 cm!

തുടരെ തുടരെ ഉള്ള breaking ആണ് ഇതിനു കാരണം. Gear down ചെയ്ത് break ആവശ്യം ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ മാത്രം use ചെയ്യുക. ആ ഇറക്കം കയറ്റം കയറുന്ന ഗിയറിൽ ഇറക്കം ഇറങ്ങുക. 2nd gear ആരിക്കും നല്ലത്.
