Easy now, don't be so hostile - it IS satire. Oh and by the way, Fender made electric 4-string mandolins, in tele- and strat- shapes. John Abercrombie played a Strat copy e-mandolin on his duet recordings with Ralph Towner, and Marty Stuart, who I believe you're referring to, is originally a mandolin player.
