Donnie Herron is one of the most most talented people I've ever seen! Donnie can play fiddle, steel guitar, guitar, and mandolin perfectly.

I didn't know his name but he's an amazing musician. Thanks!

He is straight up off-the-chain and a very humble fellow at the same time. Most anyone else with his talent would have a head the size of a basketball and completely full of themselves. He is a true professional indeed.

@@paulaperry2951 Well my parents got divorced and then my mom died when I was 10, (I'm 55yo) and I remember her listening to all this stuff, and Elvis, which I hated at the time, but now it reminds me of her. These guys have a lot of their own songs I like.

I'll never forget the good times I've had with this band! The very first time I saw them in concert, I requested this song, Gary nodded, and three songs later, without them ever stopping or talking, they hit it out of the park. Great band.

Now there's a finely assembled number. The violinist's precision of pitch and imaginative fills on both instruments make an exquisite balance. Lots of bounce to cheer up the mournful theme. Very good indeed. Tim.

@@paulaperry2951 Ms. Perry, Country lyrics considered outside their music do not always have a cheerful content. However, my experience of putting this particular song together, doing all instruments and vocals, was challenging and rewarding, for me at any rate. The melody is the medicine that rejuvenates or uplifts, because, despite appearances it is not always an easy exercise. Indeed, it can be highly cathartic. Tim Mercer.

Why would you say such a ridiculous, false statement like that? Let's see you try and play a guitar or sing a note on key! No? Didn't think so.
