As a black woman I whole heartedly understand why some of you are saying I should have hung up immediately. I believe every black person has their own individual right to feel how they feel about that word. As I mentioned in this video, I grew up with Latino people using it. I know some black people who haven’t and they are not okay with Latino people using it. I also know black people who don’t like anyone using it. In this woman’s case she was introduced to the word by being abused. She is dealing with more than I am able to diagnose and I pray she gets therapy.

This was a triggering interview for me. I don’t like anyone saying the n-word, but especially people who don’t identify as Black American. I have ended friendships with Latina women bc they used the word. And these Latin girls could’ve been lifelong friends with me. But I cannot allow anyone not Black to refer to me as that word. This woman has a black son and that son most likely will be phenotypically identified as black and she’s using this nasty racial slur. Which is rich especially considering she doesn’t even know her own ethnicity. This is a prime example of people only wanting to co-op black culture to their own convenience.

Did you see the video where Kendra let the white dude say it? I'm hoping that the response to this video is the one that gets her to change her policy. It's really disgusting. This is how a lot of Indian/Eastern people feel about Black people and darker skinned people. For her specifically, she needs to go get healing before she gets on a dating show. Especially a Black run dating show. She got with a low class person on the pretense of getting some weed and got knocked up. Stayed in an abusive situation for a decade. Not downplaying how hard it can be to get out of those kind of situations. But now she thinks she is the right to disrespect all Black men and all Black people.
