Obligatory - 'You should have spammed fist bump AND attack emote to get white to understand!' 1:10:30 If I was a noob in his position, I would probably think that a fist bump = don't break my bonus; attack = go looking or make a play~. Getting creative with the emotes can sometimes trigger light bulbs, but it is still a shot in the dark lol

This situation where another player won't do anything to help with a card-block, is pretty common in long games on these settings -- it's why they're long. It's the slow evolution of really bad players not wanting to lose and hoping other players hand them the game. You'd think they'd finally figure out after a few 3 hour games that maybe the answer is to actually do something, but no. They will try every variety of doing nothing first.

I think this game clearly shows that we need a "VC explains endgame" series because endgames are not even remotely fun if noone knows what to do and communication doesn't work. I guess the concepts of copycat or cardblocking doesn't really make sense for a lot of people because they just think every game is based around territorialboni since (more boni = more troops over time = win eventually) which just doesn't work in progressive. And copycat is probably unintuititve because they think when you hit someone they hit you back even harder(?). Please save this community VC!

At 1:52:24ish, when you broke out looking for a weak white cap after they forted 1000 off. In this situation, I'd just keep up the semblance of a block until white reaches the 3000 cap and is blocked for real. I don't fear red getting another cap, which they might not do as they didn't see what white did, just a long fortify, but I do fear red deciding they can't trust me and we're here for another 3 hours, ha ha. Sense of humour very important in these situations when you're trying not to question all your life's decisions leading to this unending game. Yep, I remember this feeling.

GM VC, I think the long videos do well cus we like to listening you talk so even if it is hours long we will watch it. For me it is more fun when the game is dynamic and u can be agressive with your plays, but I dont mind the video been long

Long videos do well because it people watch the whole thing, that represents lots of ad revenue for You-Tube, which is what the algorithm tries to promote.

I think they are doing the copy cat strategy the problem is they think red/white are the best players therefor white breaks bonus, then red breaks bonus white breaks bonus at infinitum

Jonathan, so many mistakes at the beginning of the game... 🙄 Black was not your "homey" - where did you come up with that? Green didn't go after White, he broke Black in the corner - you were talking, so you missed black oopsing him. Black didn't "try to kill Red" - he went back into green for revenge and cornered him in Spain. That's why Red was stronger than you thought and Black seemed weak in the right upper corner. Nobody was going into White - Green and Black were going thru his bonus to hit each other. Just to name a few at the 42 minutes mark. Btw, you're still the best Risk content creator on KZbin!!
