Hi Suzy just to say I love your bangles. I made some of these a few years ago for a wedding I was working on everyone loved them. But had a hectic few years since, I’m now a grandmother to a very clever little boy who has asked if I can teach him how to make some, after being in hospital last year & having to do a lot of recovery at home I think I’m ready to get back to what I love doing. There are 2 purposes to hammer the wire. 1. make texture on the wire. It looks beautiful. 2. The wire becomes stronger.

I got 18 gauge wire but it’s too soft . What kind do you use ?

I also used soft wire. If too soft, you can change the wire to 16 or half hard.
