Eye bracelet with small crystal - Herringbone wire wrap bead - easy jewelry making from copper wire
With this pattern you can use any wire type and wire size you have, as well as any tool you have.
This pattern uses stones (with holes) of 4-10mm diameter
wire size to make bracelet diameter 5.5 cm with stone 6mm
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 8 x 3cm( 1,2 inch), 4cm( 1,6 inch), 5cm( 2 inch)
28 gauge ( wire diameter 0.3mm ) : 200cm( 80 inch)
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
- Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
- Can cut the wire wrapped about 20cm
- If the wire is missing, can + a few chain to get the desired size
- make slightly curved to when worn to hug hand
- Can do the same with earrings
- Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
- I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.

This is the prettiest bead setting I've seen so far. Very elegant but easy to make. This is the single herringbone weave which leaves one side full and the other side hollow. There is also a double herringbone weave where you use two wires one on each end of the bead, so both sides look full and not hollow. Both techniques are lovely on a necklace or bracelet. You have certainly inspired me since I found your You Tube channel. My first advanced wire project I completed was your Tree of Life tutorial. I am particularly fond of the Tree of Life design & the Herringbone design, but stopped making them because I found the tutorials of other You Tube artists were making to be entirely too big. You have the artistry to take any design and, not only improve on it, but make it more feminine, as well. Most of my customers are woman who work in an office environment and do not want really oversized jewelry.

I have only 1 style wire. you can use half-hard wire for the 'base' to increase the hardness of the product

Stick with Dead Soft wire in all cases. Half hard has very limited use. You can harden up the entire bracelet by tumbling with steel shot, or hammering lightly with rawhide on the bare wire for bead backbone. All Craft wire is half hard and it rips up your hands. Don't bother.
