Thanks so much for your kind words Lorraine. Please don't be hard on yourself. I have been making wire jewelry for 35 years. This particular bracelet is a bit more advance, but I do have a lot of beginner videos that may be easier. Good luck and please don't hesitate to ask any questions here or via email at heatherboydwire@gmail.com

As Heather said, she's been doing this a long time. She has also said on her lives that she has very strong hands. She is very, very good at spacial design. I am not, so it would take me making something probably a dozen times to get it to look similar to hers. I just enjoy the process. Wire working is as much about muscle memory as it is design. Don't give up on it! ❤

Where did the 3rd wire come in. The one you coiled on 16g wire? I watched 4 times and you didn't mention a 3rd wire.
@HeatherBoydWire2 ай бұрын
At 1:11 in the video I add 6-8 inches (you can use less) of 18g Artistic wire to the first 16g wire piece to attach the beads. At 1:59 after the beads are on this 18g wire, I twist the 18g wire that holds the beads to the 2nd 16g wire piece. Hope this helps.

Hello - what is a miracle bead?
@HeatherBoydWire2 ай бұрын
Miracle beads are made of acrylic resin, have a lucite core with a silver mirror-plated finish and are coated with several layers of coloured lacquer. When viewed in the light, they have an illusion of depth. They do not glow in the dark but do appear to glow in the light.

I've actually never sold bracelets. You can always search Etsy to get a ballpark for price for this type of bracelet. It depends on the materials. My guess would be between $15 and $25

You can use the 16g if the hole in your beads is large enough!
@susanpuckett7682Ай бұрын
I couldn’t even complete the first twist of the wire around three times. How did you just hold it and twist it around? Kudos to those who can make a beautiful bracelet with this tutorial.OH I see now you didn’t use the 2nd 16 gauge wire to twist. You used a 3rd different long piece of smaller wire to twist which would be easier to twist around. Got it.

Glad you got it. This is a tricky design.

Would this design work with 18 gauge as a base and 20 gauge to wrap?

It would be more delicate but could work if your wire is good quality. You can try this design with by twisting 18g wire: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6jWdnZseKt3aLc

Hello Heather! Very nice looking bracelet. But I'm thinking, will it stay this shape? The wire looks so soft. If it's for myself it's ok, no big deal, but if I am selling it its different.
@HeatherBoydWire8 ай бұрын
The 16g Artistic wire is quite strong. You can always hammer the wire for more strength.
@tantsotis8 ай бұрын
@@HeatherBoydWireOk, thank you for the answer Heather. :-D Very nice you take the time for me. I found artistic wire in one of the shops here in Sweden and it was quite expensive. What do you think about BENECREAT 1.3mm 10m roll ? I'm about to order more wire, still a beginner and make lots of mistakes so I prefer cheap... And I found it's like magic to hammer, feel how strong the wire becomes with something so simple. :-D
