My favorite part of this design is that it’s symmetrical on both sides. Most wire rings are slightly skewed because the wire crosses and twists in opposite directions. This solves the symmetry and avoids buildup of wires that wrap around the bead. Thanks for a great project idea.

Hello Mika, could you make a video of how you changes the spring, when an instrument has his spring broken. I have some springs to do it and it can be done in few time . This dental chair is well done and the access is easy to everything, so if I can change the spring by myself, it will be quicker than waiting for someone to come and change it. Thanks 🥰

@HeatherBoydWire10 ай бұрын
Thank you. The Artistic wire does not tarnish, but I usually advise using sterling or Argentium silver wire if you are wearing rings in the shower/pool. The Artistic wire has a protective coating that can wear off if your skin is acidic or if it is exposed to too much humidity.

I used 18 gauge Artistic wire. Is is not dead soft, but it is also not half hard. Its seems to hold it's shape quite well but you can hammer it to harden it up a bit or use a harder wire. Good luck.
