oOoOO they come in pink 💗😍 I think I want this one, and no, I still am trying to make up my mind as which to pick as my first T. LoL 😂 but this, this one I like. My wolf spider I caught died after caring for it almost a year, I've heard they don't live very long and I think it was a male. But PINK 💗, A pink tarantula!!! Love it ❣️

Hi Tom, Gorgeous spider and great video as always. I was wandering if you have any Bonnetina species in your care. They have made an appearance in recent years in UK and having in mind how beautiful they are its a shame that it seems there is not much content or mentions out there for them. I am dead set to make some room and to get some of them with Bonnetina minax being on top of the list. Keep up the good work. Regards Konstantin

Hello, Konstantin! Unfortunately, I don't have any Bonnetina at the moment. I DID have one, but she died as a juvenile, and I have no idea why. I'm still upset about it, as I had been raising her for a couple years, and she was seemingly doing great.

I love how chonky she is! I do not have a B. Klaasi yet, but have several Brachypelma species. I enjoy the ones I have, but this girl convinced me to seek out this variety. When colors come in on the Brachypelma, it truly is rewarding after the wait. Her coloration reminds me of the Tliltocatl Vagans, another species I adore.

How come you always add the water dish afterwards? I always wondered about that…

Because it can get in the way of where I want to put the spider at times. I like to add it when we are done.

Really pretty Brachy you've got here! If I had 1000sqft area, I would definitely get some Brachys! ;) (for now I'm stuck with 8 Ts, maybe I can get to 10 or 12 without my wife noticing... lol)

I think that it depends on what country you're in. They tend to be difficult to find in the US, and only appear periodically.

I was lucky to buy one today at petco labeled "rare tarantula" "mexican pink" for 150$ at about 1 inch in size, unsexed obviously but i picked it over their green bottle blue because the brachypelma genus are by far my favorite. So theyre out there, dont give up!

Hello again Tom! I think the conversion has an error in the text 3:02, since 12.75" is equal to 32.38cm. Sweet rehouse like always! ✅✅

@Tom Moran My Regalis has just gone crazy in terms of Size ! She molted last 14 July last year,so this is about 7 monthes ago-her last molt !! I've been waiting AGES for her to molt-like 7 monthes and still haven't 🙁 she is very dull and has a huge Booty 😆 Is it OK to expect a 7 month wait for her to molt ?? 🕷..

Got it, bud. That is absolutely insane! I, too, wonder if it would be an adaptation to get more oxygen? It's an intriguing thought!

@@TomsBigSpiders hey...yes i was a bit excited the day i discovered it. So i might have mentioned it a few places for you to see it ASAP 😅 But yes, from what iv learned then its "mutations" that then creates adaptations to a new environment if its beneficial, because it will then naturally have an advantage over its competitors without this mutations and so potentially its offspring will fair better and slowly but surely this mutation will take over and become a natural state of the species. But ofc in case of my LP, then this is just wishful thinking on my point. Will have to take a look at its next molt on the inside and then have some specialists take a look. Its in early pre-molt by now, so probably about a month from now until i know more. Will keep you in the loop. Have a good day Tom 👍
