Should you ever find yourselves in Japan during the winter, I would recommend one of the Japanese "stove" trains in the far, north. I know that you are a cruise oriented channel but this something that I would recommend. Also, Tokyo during the Christmas season is magical.

I think I’m watching your videos in the wrong order. I watched another video of yours about Royal Caribbean or was it celebrities millennium and you were doing a cabin tour. So you must’ve come out of the typhoon unscathed. I’ve always wanted to travel to Japan, but now I never will. I will just have to enjoy Japan through your eyes. Enjoy the rest of your cruise

A typhoon is a tropical cyclone and is referred to as such in the Northwest Pacific Ocean. This region covers most of Southeast Asia, Japan, China, Vietnam, the Koreas and Guam. In the Northeast Pacific and Atlantic Ocean, “hurricane” is the term used. Which is why when a major typhoon in Asia/SEA is reported in the news, most western media refer to it as a hurricane.

Tokyo is one city that is prepared for a typhoon. They don't play around. We returned from harmony in Galveston ( we live 26 min from Galveston) . July 7th. July 8th hurricane berry hit. A cat one. Took two weeks for the area to cone around with power. God bless you guys be safe.…. Hurricane food potted meat and Vienna sausages. 🤢

7-11 in Japan is different than the US. You can actually get good food there. Not gourmet, but, not the trash they offer in the states.
