Probably a bit weird to compare those but, Crockett's Theme (Miami Vice) & Cannonball Run Theme is great, too! :) ... and yeah, Dead Poets Society Theme is nice tho, because it's ...searching for words... it sounds like it could be centuries old, but still it fits the movie just perfect, it's like reading a book is music - it is calming and down to earth.

Themes from: Miami Vice, Airwolf, Robocop, Beverly Hills Cop, Knight Rider; next: Runaway from James Bond by B. Conti, Planet Saakar from Thor Ragnarock, DooM games background instrumental songs (but only new extended full instrumental versions created years after game had premiere). Additionaly music from movie about catching and fighting with Androids starring H. Ford and R. (Hauer)? - first and second part. Soundtrack in genre of synthwave and Drive movie. Last movie made synthwave again popular music (±10 years ago). At end... music from 90s TV series about girl murdered and then police investigation in town named Twin Peaks.

First time seen Terminator in 1985, when I was 17. Last time I've seen Terminator... NEVER! STILL WATCHING! I've seen T1 at least 140 times... And still watching. Same for T2!
@Furzkampfbomber6 ай бұрын
First time I've seen Terminator 2 was the day it hit cinemas. I've watched it with a friend, in the cinema in my street. There is this fight between the two Terminators at the end, where the T 1000 rams a metal rod through Arnie's chest and its 'light out' for him and, well, at least the timing was _perfect,_ the very moment you see how the light goes out for the T 800, the lights and the projector went out as well. Turned out that an excavator cut the power line to the cinema this very moment, so we left the cinema without seeing the end of the movie. The cinema gave everyone tickets for the next show possible and some snack coupons, so no problem, but at this moment, it was quite the bummer. Fortunately, no one else had seen the movie so far and could spoil the end for my buddy and me, _then_ I'd have been peeved.

The T-800’s relentless pursuit of its objectives, its ability to withstand setbacks, and its singular focus on completing its mission reflect the same mindset that Arnold has exhibited in his personal and professional life. In fact, Arnold often speaks about his own journey as one of constant discipline, vision, and perseverance, which mirrors the T-800’s cold determination. This theme of unbreakable willpower, regardless of circumstances, has been a key part of both his personal legacy and the character he portrayed in the film.

This song never fails to send the chills down my back. For the precision and quality alone, this cover deserves to be recognized as one of the best - bravo! Terminator and Terminator 2 - the Director's cut are the only true Terminator movies for me; none of the crap that came after them is canon to me. I mean, think about it? When was the last time you watched a movie that hit you as hard as Terminator 2? The acting, the script, the cinematography, the music? All of them worked together like a well oiled machine to create one of the most memorable movies of all time. It had a message yes, but not one that preached at us, vilified us, or tried to put blame on us for something that happened so far in the past that none of us were even alive back then. I miss those kind of movies - they don't make them anymore like they used to, not even close.

I seriously believe this is one of the best if not the best musical compositions ever made for a movie series (or any other piece of narrative fiction for that matter). The genius is not so much in the composition on its own, separated from its context, but in how the composition works _in context._ One would think that in a story about a killer robot going to the past to kill someone the music would be badass and exhilarating, conveying feelings of action, war and terror. Yet the melody of this composition is extremely _melancholic._ It's almost sad and depressing. And that's where the genius of the composition lies. In the context of the movie series (especially the second movie) it works astonishingly perfectly. It gives a very particular feeling and mood to the movie, which fits it perfectly. It's technically an action sci-fi movie, but the theme music sets it up as something much darker, much more depressing, much sadder. And that's where the genius of the music lies. It's just perfect.
