Only reason Em was there was because he was begged then paid to. Otherwise, he wouldn't have gotten out of bed

as an eagles fan im very happy we went Quinyon over Arnold. both should be good nfl players, but you cant teach size and speed.

Like I said man I think he’s a damn good corner, but his mix of size and athleticism worry me on the outside long term. He’d fit much better as a slot guy, but I’m sure Detroit will find a way to make him work because he fits their mindset almost perfectly.

@MillerFootball don't see Manu 6 ft slot corners but ok he was the nu.ber 1 cb in this draft getting him at 24 was a steal. That's what most say anyway still like him more the slow small witherspoon that went to Seattle last year

There are actually quite a few 6'0"+ slot defenders in the league nowadays, and I do not see any similarities in his game to Witherspoon's. As I said in the video, I see a lot of Chris Harris Jr in his game, as he was just a tick shorter and was a killer nickel while also being a serviceable outside corner when needed. I do not think Arnold will be a bad corner by any means, but I did not see him as the number 1 CB in the draft like you do. However, the beauty of the NFL draft is we all end up with slightly varying opinions on players based upon how we evaluate, and I think it's fun to discuss and compare evaluations!

@@MillerFootball #2 best CB at worst. I honestly would've rather had them trade back... Carolina 39 and 101 for 29 and gotten a Braden fisk, rakestraw, beebe ,renardo green. That would've been a better 3 rounds on my opinion.

I’d say y’all dodged a bullet alongside 30 other teams not ending up with Fiske, but a haul with Green, Rakestraw, and Beebe definitely would’ve been dope. I had Arnold as my CB4 personally, but it’s like I said in the comment you replied to, that’s the beauty of pre-draft analysis!

I get the criticism of Giovanni, not so much on Vaki. He won't play S... he'll be a WR/RB/ST.

Trading up for a RB/WR/ST in the 4th round who played safety in college when there were genuinely good RBs & WRs still on the board just isn’t good process imo, especially when I had Vaki graded lower than a 4th round value for me. Vaki’s fits Detroit’s vibe super well, so I get why the Lions wanted him, but he just felt like a reach based on my evaluations.

@@MillerFootball well, It won't be the first or last time the Lion's value system doesn't coincide with pundits. Both Campbell and Holmes wanted Manu and Vaki. I hope their luck continues to hit.

@@bradpirochta9293 yeah at the end of the day if their picks hit, that’s what matters! I’m not a fortune teller, so I can’t tell you for sure what Vaki will be. All I have to go off of is my evaluations, but despite the low grade I will say I do see the appeal. Vaki turning into a legit contributor wouldn’t shock me at all.
