That song has so much meaning to me. Was released shortly after losing my grandfather (my granddaddy like he says in the song), and him saying he is going to walk again next to him. Well yeah my granddaddy couldn’t walk much at the end of his life (due to over a decade of metastasized kidney cancer getting to his bones and lungs). So yes when I get where I am going I am going to walk with my granddaddy and he will match me step for step.

Enjoyed the reaction. Brad always hides a more instrumental song on his albums. Normally not released singles. They are songs that give him the excuse just to have fun with his band and play. His first album had one called Nervous Breakdown and second album Munster Rag. Both have no singing at all. You can generally find 1 per album like this.

@@BourbonCountryReacts fun Brad story...my aunt worked there for a bit as a nurse. During the pandemic Brad got bored at home and started crashing zoom parties. I invited him to our business networking groups happy hour...laid it on thick that my aunt was a nurse and worked with two girls that went to school with him and said he was kinda dorky lol. He’s got a fun sense of humor and a big heart so the WV hometown connection worked and he popped into our zoom call. He was very cool, very down to earth, introduced us to his dad lol. I want to see y’all react to a specific video of Johnny b Goode with Chuck berry when he played with Bruce Springsteen. He was almost 80 and could still throw down and would love to see yalls reaction with that ole cat when he does his chuck berry duck walk even at his age at the time. Interesting fact about John five is that although he is most well known for playing with guys like zombie and Marilyn Manson, he’s actually a country got hurt. Most of his solo stuff is free country oriented and he’s actually got one of the best collections of vintage telecasters you’re ever likely to see. I can’t think of any names off the top of my head but if you get a chance, you should check out some of the solar stuff because I think you’d like it. Hell of a picker.

The story I was told is, the cops were looking for him in the trailer park he grew up in, and he snuck up behind him banged on the trunk waved and took off running.
