You guys need to listen to either Brad's "Time Warp" or "Nervous Breakdown." The live versions. All instrumental, no vocals, and he plays the guitar like this. And "Time Warp" on the Letterman version really shows off the band's ability to play.

1,000 votes to Brad featuring Dolly “When I get where I’m going” tribute to his grampa who taught him to play. Not as much one of his guitar tunes but big time message and vocal harmony.

That song has so much meaning to me. Was released shortly after losing my grandfather (my granddaddy like he says in the song), and him saying he is going to walk again next to him. Well yeah my granddaddy couldn’t walk much at the end of his life (due to over a decade of metastasized kidney cancer getting to his bones and lungs). So yes when I get where I am going I am going to walk with my granddaddy and he will match me step for step.

Enjoyed the reaction. Brad always hides a more instrumental song on his albums. Normally not released singles. They are songs that give him the excuse just to have fun with his band and play. His first album had one called Nervous Breakdown and second album Munster Rag. Both have no singing at all. You can generally find 1 per album like this.

@@BourbonCountryReacts fun Brad story...my aunt worked there for a bit as a nurse. During the pandemic Brad got bored at home and started crashing zoom parties. I invited him to our business networking groups happy hour...laid it on thick that my aunt was a nurse and worked with two girls that went to school with him and said he was kinda dorky lol. He’s got a fun sense of humor and a big heart so the WV hometown connection worked and he popped into our zoom call. He was very cool, very down to earth, introduced us to his dad lol. I’ve always loved Brad but appreciate so much his attempts to entertain while locked down. And how much he did for WV after the floods that hit Clendenin and Elkins hard. My youngest brother got into a lot of trouble when he was a teenager. The story I was told is, the cops were looking for him in the trailer park he grew up in, and he snuck up behind him banged on the trunk waved and took off running. I was listening to this with him time I said that, and he said he was sleeping. He was a juvenile so he always ended up in juvenile hall.

I may be heading to West Virginia this weekend and I will have to make sure that this song is on my "traveling" playlist. Thankfully I use cruise control. I did have to laugh when Brad sang about loosing them on the back roads. I have said that once, not the same scenario as Brad's though. Brad is an amazing singer and an even better guitar player lol, he’s also a mason and when he goes to the Lodge outside of Nashville he’s done sent word to me that if I’ll bring my Martin D-28 up there he’ll autograph it. I don’t let anyone touch my Martins or my Gibsons but I’ll definitely get him to autograph it! Can’t wait to either. Love yalls content. I watch a couple of Channels that do reactions but y’all are by far my favorite, thanks for your content, I have a lot of complications with my health due to MS and days I’m feeling particularly down when I can’t do much else when walking becomes a chore I turn y’all on, on my 70” living room tv And sip with y’all. Thanks for the vids Bros I look forward to the future video drops and I think I’ve watched all but 5 of your videos (was 6 before this video) but I have a friend in Canada that supposed to be sending me a bottle of their “finest whiskey” and I had to stop the liquor a few years ago bc I never knew when to stop and got in jail a few times plus I was mean as a rattlesnake on whiskey so now I stick to lighter stuff mainly twisted tea and only drink 2-3 if even that, but idk how to exactly send a bottle, I’m sure there is an address on here but when I get it I’ll send it yalls day with a song request. I want to see y’all react to a specific video of Johnny b Goode with Chuck berry when he played with Bruce Springsteen. He was almost 80 and could still throw down and would love to see yalls reaction with that ole cat when he does his chuck berry duck walk even at his age at the time. Keep up making us all smile and giving us something to look forward to in a world that sucks now

Interesting fact about John five is that although he is most well known for playing with guys like zombie and Marilyn Manson, he’s actually a country got hurt. Most of his solo stuff is free country oriented and he’s actually got one of the best collections of vintage telecasters you’re ever likely to see. I can’t think of any names off the top of my head but if you get a chance, you should check out some of the solar stuff because I think you’d like it. Hell of a picker.

@@stevebournite184 No I've legit done it twice, no lights and sirens, but have had them turn around on me, got out of sight, and sat there and watched them look for me. Give me a head start and I am going to keep going. Both times I was effed no matter what, if I kept going or not, they had enouugh to haul my ass to jail on the speed alone, so why not? Simply put I was already effed to begin with, kept on and hit a couple of turns before they could see me, yeah at that point I am going to sit there, prove it was me. BTW the statute of limitations has ran out for both of those times. Also having that happen on GTA, yeah them looking for you, if they catch a glimpse you are done for, so no I am not talking about that. Truly that is the key, gettting out of sight, and getting out of sight before they can see you. Then even if your car matches the car that ran, who cares that wasn't me. Prove it.

@@BourbonCountryReacts no I don't under estimate you, I think you might under estimate police and over compensate. Now we ain't talking back roads of west virginia where there is one cop every 500 acres. I am talking normal town, city. I would walk your ass down, and you would be in cuffs. And it's not a myth, some cops can and some cops can't, just like when we served in military, there are guys that do, there are guys that pretend to do, and there are guys that just don't.

Like you said, "Where is THIS Band?!" That's what I've wondered for years. He never plays these excellent songs live. As in never ever ever. I saw a clip if him trying to play police man live and he got a few notes wrong here and there like all of us. But it wasn't up to the standard of the 5th gear album so he decides not to play them live. He absolutely is burning up on the album. Really talented. If he works extremely hard practicing i bet he could play the 5th gear album in its entirety in a one night only live stream/ in real life (in front of an audience) performance. That way people with really good speakers at the house can watch the concert too. But yeah i have worshipped Brad Paisley, Roy Clark Jr, & Willie Nelson. Since i was a young boy first thing i learned on a guitar was fingerpicking.. working my way to to using my pinky. Now i just use three cuz im laxy when playing cuntry.... lol Love yall. Idk if you have already reacted to all i wanted was a car & the song Bigger fish to fry by Mr. Paisley. P.s but u definitely should

BS. I've seen him numerous times since opening for Alan Jackson and he can and does play any of his songs live. Watch Time Warp or Catch All the Fish live on Letterman and tell me him and the band aren't players. Gtfoh
