I’m a Veteran, Army 5 years active duty with 2 deployments. This one hits hard and is a great depiction of both the honor and horror of being a soldier on and off the battlefield.

Five Finger Death Punch did a great job with this song and video. Alot people don't realize what are soldiers go through and the sacrifices they do for country.

5:17 the black says "you know me. You saved my life brother" then picks him up, the exact same way one would pick up a wounded soldier. Yes, he was wounded when it showed him getting shot. But not all wounds are visible. One 30 second part of the video says so, so much.

Great reaction you two. I love seeing girls who are so empathetic towards the issues stated in this song. It is truly a blessing knowing that there is a couple out there that shows their true emotions and doesn’t hide their feelings. Jasmine you are a truly beautiful, empathetic, caring young woman, don’t ever change. Loved the reaction, keep it up you two ❤️🙂

"Is this going to make me cry" Much of my family are veterans including my brother, it's a shame how our system has failed our brave warriors.

Most of the money in the Defense budget goes to Corporations of the Military Industrial Complex that makes the weapons, vehicles, aircraft’s, ships and other supplies that make the rich shareholders richer and the actual soldiers are left with the scraps which is why other organizations have to help veterans

It's not only trauma. These people are thought to be disciplined and to do whatever they're told, to the point that getting a task to do, to complete alone or with your company, brings you purpose. When they're veterans, they lose that purpose. There is no one telling them to do anything, leaving them feeling lost. And yes, there's also the trauma of losing men and survivor's guilt. It's a whole package that is not being supported enough by governments. This song deserves at least 3 listens to fully grasp. 1 for the tekst 2 for the video 3 for the song I love this band. In my opinion, they aren't getting enough attention from KZbin reactors. This song is an outlier, along with the song "Gone Away," which do get some reactions. Other than that, they have so many other awesome songs that I never see anyone reacting to.

I’m a lucky one as a son of a 20year Canadian veteran. My family is still together and never homeless. My dad served in Bosnia in 93 and came back with PTSD. Suffered alone until 2007 as it wasn’t recognized as something wrong in 93. When you hear your mom say “The man that left didn’t return” it hits you like a Mack truck. My dad’s been getting better thankfully but mental health stuff is so hard.

If u guys liked Five Finger Death Punch and the message and subject matter they are talking about within this song, i highly recommend checking out Sabaton, all there songs are about specific military historical events or the individual incredible stories of people that don't get told enough

Such an amazing song brings a tear to my every time I watch it I'll who am I kidding I'm over here crying lol so sad to see the thing of it is what civilian is actually going to know how to help a veteran as a civilian you can be nice to them you can do everything that you can to help them but only a veteran can help a veteran because they know they've been there and went through that flashbacks are terrible yeah kind of hard to understand if you've never had them

As a U.S. Army veteran let me say thank you for reacting to this. Please react to another song of theirs Gone Away. Keep in mind this powerful video was released 9 years ago. Those statistics have only gotten worse, for example the video states there was 1 suicide every 2 hours which equates to 12 suicides per day in 2013 when the video was released. That number is now 22 suicides per day.

Well. Done! Any student of history will recognize this reality. I am still actively walking the homeless camps. Looking for vets, and helping All in need. If we, the US veterans, can not care for our brothers and sisters at home like we did downrange, WE are failing ouselves. Period. Full stop. Really nice react. Please continue! Cheers rl 🤘👹🤘
