I don't know why, but whenever I think "I really feel like playing some Tori", this is in the top list of songs I will play. It's really great for a soprano who wants to warm up to some higher notes, up there with "Precious things" for clearing out those top note sinus passages.

Tori was invited for Juilliard at 5 and kicked out at 11 or 12 for begin 'musically insubordinate', basically for being a teenager. She has made incredibly beautiful music and all of the performances at Montreux are divine. Her studio recordings are magical, but I prefer her singing live because of the raw emotion. If you want to hear a beautiful song listen to 'Winter'. If you want to be emotionally torn asunder listen to her devastating 'Me and a gun'. Thanks!
