Brad's giggles after 5 straight minutes of Kyle not throwing a great shot is killing me, I was literally laughing out loud with him hahaha. Great vid, gents! Thanks for an honest review, rather than just showing us 5 or 10 perfect strikes with it.

Probably the most honest bowling ball review of all times. A lot of these weak balls on house shots are not so weak. They just have very little miss room.

Yes!,, I’ve been calling it the L-BO (elbow) since the announcement others were saying LBO I hoped it would catch on… just got mine yesterday and can’t wait to get it drilled 😄

First, we totally want to know what this Norm Duke "outside thumb" tip is. Second, THIS is what we need to see in ball reviews, because this tells us WAY more about the ball than someone just throwing 10 strikes.

Fun stuff guys! This Elbow Ball looks like it is meant more for the transition/burn or light oil situation. I guess Brad has the better touch today.

The way this ball looks, this looks like it would be great on a fresh pattern. Store energy till it hits the dry and heads to the 7 pin.

Great video. I wish you guys would create a video on how the thumb should feel in the ball. Should it be super tight? Do you grab at all with the thumb and if so with the top of the thumb or the bottom? I have recently changed to a super tight thumb and now put pressure with the bottom of my thumb. While that has increased my rev rate It feels uncomfortable.

You just said something that made a ton of sense to me. I am on a sport shot trio this summer. We are on a pattern called highway to hell. And it is short and flat and a stupid hooking. I had a recent hip replacement on my slide leg and my ball speed is a good 3mph slower and everytime I try and step back and increase it my leg wants to go out from under me. But what you said that sometimes a weaker ball will out hook a strong ball due to the strong ball using its energy up is happening to me. Only issue using a strong ball is even tho I can get it in the pocket, it is a flat hit and wont carry as it has no energy left. I have a pretty diverse 12 balls to use. What could I do to help my game. Should I decrease surface and polish the shit out of a weaker ball. I have the motive blue tank and it is doing about the best but it is still way over hooking and normally it is very easy to control It has a diff in the high 30's. I have never polished a MCP ball. Thinking of a high grit and high polish on my hyroad nano too. Man it sucks to get old. This hip has destroyed the love I have for the game. I have one more week on this pattern and then I think we go to the cheetah.

When you say Norm Duke outside thumb, are you talking about flattening out your hand and coming up the backside?

I just got more confused...😢 I have no idea what my rev.rate is, and I'm looking for something to throw-if/what when the lanes... I've got the VEBO and IQ Tour... Was hoping this would be my next ball out of the bag, but it looks to hook more than I'm looking for?...?..

I love my tour Dynamic-x. Can’t wait to get this drilled. (Hip surgery first). Kyle has one of the nicest games on tour. Brad not far off. 👍🏻

What was the St. Louis comment about at 2:05? Do STL lanes typically use different patterns than other cities? I ask because I have only ever bowled in STL.
@UnkwnEntity5 ай бұрын
We just don’t have much oil on the lanes. Everything hooks.

I have said the same thing. I hate house shots cuz there should be oil. I shouldnt have to spin to win to get strikes. I like relaxing and rolling the ball gosh darn it.

@rhegafd5 ай бұрын
that ball has no skid at all to it. It almost looks like you're bowling on a lane with no oil. I legit do not understand the bowling lingo you (and everyone else uses) To say this ball is clean and is on the low end of hook makes me question my eye balls. That ball is taking a harder left turn then most of what Ive seen you guys throw. What does clean mean? And in what world is this ball considered no hook? Im so confused. Note: Would love to see a video where you go over bowler lingo and what it all means.
@s0meguy8095 ай бұрын
The problem is you're thinking hook is side to side motion. Hook is actually front to back. A strong ball is going to start hooking earlier. A weak or clean ball starts hooking later when it sees friction. That's why the VEBO burns up is because it hooks earlier due to a stronger core.
@rhegafd5 ай бұрын
@@s0meguy809 appreciate the help. So Clean = late and Strong = early?
@s0meguy8095 ай бұрын
@@rhegafd Yeah pretty much. I had a storm summit and it didn't hook left to right at all. It was so strong it burned up quick and just went straight. My hustle had way more down lane motion because it's a lot cleaner and weaker.
@jordan152115 ай бұрын
And don’t forget what they’re bowling on…..this is a used up house shot so this ball looks as if it hooking a lot but if you consider the conditions this is expected. Any other ball they will most likely have to loft with those conditions
