It's a different set of rules if you live together. If you still live with your ex, then do limited contact with your ex where you only discuss the essentials only. Acting like you're still together is really a bad idea for you since it lets you stay in denial when you've already broken up, and that's not good. It looks like she's might confused if she's going back and forth here, so give it time. You both need clarity. That kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed or weird signals. You're on the right track, assuming you've done the first phase (30-day "no contact" rule) correctly and basically had set the stage for this second part. @@BradBrowning I ended up shooting her a very short, friendly text like 45 days into NC. Just said "hi" and hoped all was well and asked if she had been up to anything cool over the last 6 weeks and she completely blew up on me, told me that it was "severely triggering" that i contacted her, basically to never contact her again and then she blocked me on. Keep in mind, she gave me the old "id love to be friends with you and keep in touch" line when she dumped me, then pulled this. Honestly, it's helped me get over the situation more though. It was difficult in the beginning because our breakup, while one sided, was relatively peaceful. She was polite in her way she went about it and I handled it well, didnt protest or beg or plead and look weak. We even talked for a few days afterwards until our messages got shorter and shorter and eventually stopped. But now, with how gas-lighty she was, almost making me out to be some sort of domestic abuser, its kinda made me resent her more and has made it easier to come to terms with the fact that shes 100% gone from my life now.

As tough as it may be, it's always best to come to terms with the breakup and the fact that you're both single now. You doing the "no contact" rule neither prevents nor encourages your ex to go with someone new. In other words there's really nothing you can do to keep your ex from getting with someone new if they want to. So it boils down to two options, really. 1. Employ no contact and keep your dignity while respecting your ex's decision to breakup (why push yourself to someone who doesn't want you?) or Option 2: Do not do no contact and be pathetic. I always advise people to choose option 1 but really, which option you choose is ultimately up to you.

Unless you've done something really epic to mess things up and/or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. Focus on all three phases and your ex may naturally unblock you, in time, as you learn to rebuild that attraction and re-attract this ex back to your life.. If he's truly a narcissist, you might want to think twice before trying to get him back, because even if you can change his mind, you can't change his personality, especially if he has a narcissistic personality disorder. It's a mental illness that should be looked into by a medical professional. The best you can do is to encourage him to seek help. If your ex continues to reach out to you, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. It's up to you. I always say to focus on yourself first. Just try to make sure you maximize what you can within this 30-day period such as healing yourself, enjoying your own company, as well as spending time to see where it all went wrong, but only when you start to feel better, so be sure to take time to grieve first and feel the loss and cry all you want but then make an effort to pick yourself up first. Remember, you can't pick someone up (to be back in a relationship with you) if you're also feeling down yourself. Now is the time for self love. Stop forcing things. Try to have self discipline and remember, love should never be forced. Otherwise it becomes an obsession, so be very careful of going that route. If your ex dumped you and showed you he/she doesn't want to be in your life at the moment, you ought to respect that, okay? For most dumpees that is the case. Are you seeing someone else? What kind of hurtful text messages? You can either ignore it or set boundaries and tell her how it's hurting you. How you proceed really depends. How long has it been since the breakup and have you cut off contact for 30 days yet? If you haven't cut off contact yet for at least 30 days, then you should prioritize that instead of interacting your ex. I know you love her. Otherwise you wouldn't be here trying to find a solution. However, you both need to take time to clear your head first. All right? Accept her decision to break up. You both have to process the breakup first and go through all that pain and slowly let go of the bad memories...It is a process, but this is what the "no contact" rule is for, to help both of you move forward from that pain. Unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. Try to do the opposite of the "no contact" rule and see if your ex is receptive to contact. If your ex isn't, then it's very important to give it time to let whatever anger there is between you two, especially from your ex's side, subside. If your ex is in the right age to make his own decisions that’s independent from their parents, then there may still be a chance. Otherwise, it's best to consider moving on from this, okay? I’m not quite sure why parents had to get involved in the first place. It's either you're both too young to date or it has something to do with culture. I know. He's conflicted, right? That kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a fresh/recent breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days.
