Would be an awesome story, and with all due respect to Brad, that ship has probably sailed. It is extremely hard to get an invitation as a pga pro. He would have to drop everything and grind nonstop just to get into tournament play. Then would need to win a full field tourney, one of the other majors, or be ranked top 50 in the world. Only other option get into the USGA and win or finish 2nd at the championship

He’s not an amateur anymore so it won’t happen. That doesn’t mean he’s not an amazing golfer though. Playing in it once is enough to make an entire golfers life

I was not saying it’s LIKELY. Just saying he’s an entertaining personality, and I want to see more of the players personalities in the pga like you do on KZbin. Brad included.

Awesome story. I'm a 52 year old former D1 golfer and I totally understand the point of view and your outlook on the long term perspective of playing golf professionally. I just shot -1 in my league yesterday, and disappointed that it wasn't -3 or -4. When you have the talent that Brad has, he absolutely could compete out there. He knows, it's the getting out there that is the hardest part.

Honest question: you must be a really good golfer….how close were you to making it to the pga? (Is there any “politics” involved in getting to the pga or is it strictly talent? - asking that, as a fan of hockey growing up in Canada, I can tell you that the most talented players get to the NHL, ….but there definitely is some politics/connections/preferential for a few players getting there.)

That was awesome to hear your story from the Masters Brad. As a golf nut from Australia I have watched the Masters ever since the days of Greg Norman, Ian Baker Finch, Craig Parry etc…. And I never knew all those little things that go on behind the scenes so thankyou for telling your story. You should be so proud of your achievement and most of us could only dream of shooting 9 over across 36 holes at Augusta let alone in those conditions, so well done!
