Kwon... during cart path only days... i never have issues. I use the caddy talk cure range finder... from the cart.. I can shoot the ball, then the pin, and it will tell me the distance between the two. It's accurate. Game changer.

I absolutely do have good and bad shadows. My least favorite is when the shadow is directly over the ball. When it’s behind the ball towards your trail foot, that’s the best one

if my shadow is at 10:00 to 11:30, i feel like i cant miss, if its anywhere from 3:00 to 9:00, i hate it. my swing literally feels different with each position. time of day also plays into it. long shadows help reduce the bad shadows, i love overcast and rainy days. been cursed for 40 years with this, ever since i tried a golf magazine tip on using your shadow,.... ill never get over it.

Bright day, sun at my back, drives me absolutely bonkers. I always wind up analyzing my own swing instead of locking my focus on the back of the ball. It's in my head even before I address the ball. It works out about %75 of the time.

26:48 can you help me understand this drop rule when OB. I thought you have to take a provisional or it’s stroke and distance I.e. back to the tee box. There is a local optional rule for 2 stroke penalty if ball is lost. Can someone please help me understand what they are doing here?

Red stake = drop from point of entry with 1 stroke penalty (so hitting 3) White stake = OB so you have to re tee with a 1 stroke penalty if it’s outside the white stakes AKA a persons backyard (hitting 3 from the tee box) No stakes = unmarked, so you can play your ball from where ever you find it but if you don’t find it you have to re tee with a 1 stroke penalty as if it was OB. Brad in this case played it as lateral hazard meaning you can drop anywhere from the point of entry in a straight line back from the pin with a 1 stroke penalty. Honestly if you’re just playing a casual round of golf don’t even listen to these rules they’re more for competitive tournaments. If your ball goes OB or you can’t find it just drop with a 1 stroke penalty. Hope this helps👍
