I learned the techniques via KZbin. Lots of great freediving content out there. Technique and comfort in the water go a long way. I got around 110-115 while spearing this summer.

@braden - what is the average depth that you usually find the murk layer? I have free-dived over the liberty ships and Port Mansfield nearshore reef and the murk layer seems really variable. When diving rigs in 125' I never saw the bottom, or murk.... but I am not diving past 60'
