She may be a little helicopter parent but she's not exactly a bad one. She means well. Even in S2 when everyone was hating her for scolding charlie for work I was actually on her side because it is true that Charlie is a little obsessed with Nick. They talked about Codependency this season and while I was thinking about it from S2.

The guy they cast as Michael is PERFECT. I absolutely love him in the graphic novels and I love him in the show. And he’s so perfect for Tori - their energy is somehow completely opposite but also weirdly so similar! I also love that, in both the novels and the show, they explicitly waited until all the characters were 16+ before they slept together.

Michael is one of my favorite characters, I love him so much. We get so much more of his backstory in the Solitaire novel and his relationship to Tori but the actor (who has read Solitaire) did say he was trying to emulate that Michael as much as he could with the screen time he was allotted.
