Hi, what do you recommend when approaching and going up the steep hill at 10:00? When should you change to 2nd gear when going up that hill? I really struggle with it, especially the junction at the top. Thank you

Depends on the car and your speed. Whatever gear is adequate to get up the hill without being too high revs but also not struggling to make progress. Again, depending on the car, most here would be 2nd, some 1st (high performance 3rd)

you need to step down a gear so your car has a stronger slower gear.

@@idriveleeds thnx fr replying.clearance and junction observations were two serious faults.my instructor only covers heaton test route areas and recommends that only.
