That Snoopy scene will go down in film history. Especially unintentionally hilarious.

I like how Stephen Daldry is just having a conversation but Bradley Cooper is actually trying to involve the audience - that’s Hollywood for you.

This interviewer was snobby and arrogant about the job at hand by saying this like "We both know" but you dont. Its like he looks down on people and Bradley only seemed to put on a professional domineer because of it . Also you pronounce Ely E-lee not E-Lie

Interesting. However, why do you use the classic Italian word, MAESTRO, applied to Leonardo da Vinci, all the greatest masters, in music, in the fine arts, in dance, and film and mispronounce the word? It is pronounced MAÉSTRO. With an accent on the É. I wish I could record the right pronunciation here for you. Please correct yourselves, for the English-speaking world. Otherwise, just say MASTER, which means the same 😉 And it comes from MAÉSTRO in Italian 🕊️

I haven't enjoyed these last couple of films of Bradley's. He is obviously wanting to be an AcTOR and confuses a brilliant portrayal of a role with impersonation. It's method acting on steroids and in his effort to be so perfect and so dead on as the person he is portraying, he ends up getting in the way of story telling - which is what we are actually here to do. We're too busy noticing how perfect Bradley is acting just like Bernstein until it becomes a distraction distraction! A good actor doesn't become that character or if doing a biopic, that person. A good actor portrays the ROLE with excellence. When you start playing the person and not the roll, it begins to come off as inauthentic. The audience already knows and is comfortable with the fact that you really aren't Leonard Bernstein - you are an actor playing him. Bradley thinks that he has to make the audience believe he is Bernstien in order for the movie to be good and that is where he goes wrong.

Bradley Cooper is playing a distorted version of Bernstein. His sugar coated reputation is based on a false narrative from the sacred cow coverage in the press. I posted a new video on my KZbin channel titled THE BERNSTEIN EFFECT. I studied with one of his friends, Ivan Davis, who also performed with him. Arts education was based on his teachings which are designed to make the conductors, pianists and composers stupid. This ruined classical music as an art form and a business. Most of classical recordings are vanity records, because of him. Many of the orchestras have a financial foundation based on criminal activity. They commit wire fraud by soliciting donations with false information. There's a massive amount of jealousy based mental illness, because of Bernstein's assault on arts education. I provide many examples of irrefutable evidence on this subject. THE BERNSTEIN EFFECT is highly a educational video. It's part of my efforts to fix the damage Bernstein caused to the classical music business.
