I'm a recent viewer and subscriber. I think these general concepts on lake breakdown are very helpful and will be wildly popular. I know a bunch of people will ask you to break down their specific lake, but way more helpful than that is the general concepts that you use to do so. PLEASE keep doing these "big picture" and "fundamental idea" videos! You have a new fan, Bradley!

so interesting to see you breakdown a lake that you haven't been on and nail the juice right off the bat. Cant wait to see what you look at on the mid lake section. All the baits you mention are what they are throwing here, been big weights caught all spring! Learning a ton from your videos, Thanks for breaking this lake down!

Great! I fish this lake a lot, it's always good to see it through new eyes! That one old bridge across the Osage was a suspended type, when they still used it, you could stop in the middle and feel it sway, so the locals called it the Swinging Bridge. Great content, can't wait for the next part!

To me. Take home points. In the summer stay with big river channels particularly if two rivers merge, bump up next to a point and have access to a spawning flat and decent cover of some sort.

There is a difference in hybrid white bass and stripped bass. Hybrids patterns are broken generally on the top section of the body striped bass is straight through! both fight very different and you can distinguish them easily!

Have you broken down a lowland reservoir? Check out the Fox Chain of Lakes in northeastern Illinois. I’d love to hear how you’d pick it apart. It takes 15 to 17 pounds to win over the summer and confuses 90 percent of the bass fisherman, even the locals get flustered sometimes.

Might have to, some of the ones I’ve done on small Oklahoma lakes would be pretty similar

As an added bonus. I am pretty sure the fox waterway is one one busiest inland waterways in the country. Boat traffic is insane on the weekends. Would be a cool breakdown. On another note. I Love the videos, especially when you showed mark how to catch em on thunderbird. Hah!

@BradleyHallmanFishing
@BradleyHallmanFishing 4 жыл бұрын
Suspended fish on the TVA system! That’s a video in itself. Techniques that work are swimbaits, stoking a jig, fluttering a spoon, and stroking a big worm! Those are the tried and true ways but nothing is guaranteed.

On lakes that are muddy or murky year round do you feel like bass stay pretty shallow all year? If so what range would you think? For example you probably aren’t fishing 20 ft deep in a dirty water lake in summer?
@BradleyHallmanFishing
@BradleyHallmanFishing 4 жыл бұрын
That’s usually correct Adam. Water color has a lot to do with depth at which they will live along with bait, forage, and oxygen. There’s a lot to it but muddy water keeps them shallow and tight to cover!
