I've had a sol for idk almost 7-10yrs some where around there lol. 94 vtec, I used to be supperrr into the del sol world still kind of am. I've gone to vegas invasion 3-4 times and was a contributer to TeamSolCal. We'd roll 30 sols deep to vegas yearly. I currently have a b20 in mine, I swapped the b16 out for a b17a1 that i turbo'd and now just roll a b20.

FYI, don't ever remove the small wire harness from the "light brown" square box/board behind the clock. The 3-wire plug (yellow, brown, blue) connects into the bottom side of the cluster, for the dimmer switch. If it's not plugged in, you will not have power for the cluster lights. If you ever decide to remove the clock/indicator, you have to still keep the wires connected, main one to the light brown box as well as the small 3-wire plug Just move the light brown box out of the way. I had to do this when I installed my AutoMeter vac/boost gauge in that location.

New reply to an old posting, but here goes. Had an "Indiglo Gauge" install done on my Sol back in 2003 but they eventually went bad. I'm assuming the guy that did the install for this unplugged that wire, thus I don't have the original cluster light working. When you say "don't ever" are you saying that once you remove the wire you can't get it back working? I'm curious because after seeing how easy it appears to get into the cluster, I'm considering fixing it myself after driving with a dark cluster for fifteen years.

Man I hope this helps with my issue. My guage cluster isn't lighting up at all. I checked the dimmer switch and pulled all my fuses. Next I will change the bulbs. Turn signal lights work that's about it.

Hey did you ever get your dash light issue resolved? I replaced two bulbs (#74) and now fuse 19 blows and I have no dash or rear lights.

I just order the kit of Ebay but wanted to know about the clock. Mine is so dim and you can only see it just a bit when you push on the buttons to change the time. Any help with that?

There are more lights in your cluster than usually come with the eBay kits - I think I bought 3 or 4 kits to do the entire interior. The clock I believe is it own unit and possibly might be separate smaller bulbs such as the ones up top in the buttons on top of the bezel. I will have to confirm later when I get home and can get back to you on that.

Did you ever experience speedometer couting higher speed than it actually is? because my car was counting well and for no apparent reason started to count more 10mph than before.. i mean, at 3rpm i should go at 50pmh.. no i go 60mph and i dont know why.. the gauge works fine.. no flickering whatsoever.. can someone help me please?? :(
