I just bought a del sol that sat in a woman’s driveway for 12 years, my seals are in pretty rough shape and I can’t seem to find all the parts I need. It’s a little frustrating. I enjoy your vids it really helps me figure out where to look for leaks and gives me a little confidence to take it apart.

I was really hoping to finally see where the sail panel drains empty out of the car on the underside but it wasn't here. I keep looking under the car after pouring water through but just can't pinpoint it. One of my tubes is bent and crimped and that's been a pain as well.

For any future viewers wondering this, the holes are hidde by the side skirt. You need to remove them and the hole is near the rear wheel well

Bro i don't even wanna do it but I need to so bad lol I got water swooshing around in the back. I went to do it before had all the panels out and speakers and saw that big metal plate with all the bolts and gave up. I wish I wouldn't have because now I gotta do it all again

I believe that is not the drain tube from under the rear sail panels. I think that’s the drain from the antena .

There is also a possibility to leak under the firewall sound proofing. Mine is soaked

@@OldSols there is an old service bulletin for civics saying that there is insufficient sealant between the firewall and the front wheel arch area so water will leak into the crack

Julio Rovira undetermined ATM .... once I get all the panels back in and drive it around I’ll post up my review video .... I’ll follow up though! As far as tips - wear some kind of gloves 🧤.... the metal covering has some nasty little sharp edges haha - but definitely don’t cover up any holes, bolts or screw holes cuz once you cover it .... will be a pain to remember where those are at again unless you mark everything 🤙🏻

Mine leaks at the visor on both sides but mainly the driver side. Kind of a bummer but shes in the garage for winter now hoping I can figure something out before summer

@Lulz Kev closer to the door I guess, I have fully gone through the seals they've gotten the grease and fully blown out with compressed air. It was almost no leak after that but to much rain and it leaks.

I just got my del sol and I keep getting mold in my car after it sits outside, I tried keeping it under tarps to stop the water but it looks like condensation is building up and cause mold to get everywhere do I need to replace all the seals or just use some shin etsu grease

@@OldSols One day hah! Been replacing pretty much everything suspension/mechanical that has deteriorated. All bushings were rotted out. I'll get to it! Appreciate the videos and if I have questions once I get there I'll reach out. Thanks
