I think Xbox can just do the attachment drive the way Sony does it, which is cheaper and better. As for which route, ARM for sure. AMD doesn't need to do the ARM stuff, Xbox can with an AMD Custom GPU that's integrated with a special A.I chip. Owning the design could also help them long term with costs, basically pulling an Apple with this.

A detectable disc drive makes the most sense and is probably the best we'll get moving forward. It's surprised me Microsoft still hasn't developed their own dedicated in house chip. I mean there will always be OEMs and competition on windows, but so much of Microsofts wows have been reliant in chip performance they can't control. Like Intel has hurt performance of their surface line for so long. It's great to see them shift to Qualcomm... but why have this issue at all? Let OEMs deal with third party chips while making your own in house to set the standard and have consistent performance (even if it's not the best).

Xbox should announce an arm base HH w/ Xbox UX and it's backwards compatible w/ Xbox/360/one/series games. And announce a gpu box for docking the HH for better performance for 2026🔥🔥🔥🔥

I am not a game developer,so like you, I don’t know what it takes to port an Xbox game to PlayStation. What I do know is it doesn’t seem to be a trivial matter, since several developers have stated that they need to work on the PC and PS version, before working on the Xbox version. PC is much closer to Xbox, but somehow they can’t be bother to delay it…if it was just easy money, why pass it up…especially if PS isn’t compensating them.

It's a smart strategy once you have exhausted the sales and interest on Xbox/PC, why not put it on other platforms at that point.

They are making streaming boxes where Azure servers render the games, so you only need smart mobile phone tech to run the Game Pass streaming app. And what's inside smart phones. ARM chips. I disagree with the idea of delaying first party Xbox games to PlayStation. No one cares about it except for fanboys and fanboy centric KZbin channels. Sea of thieves and grounded hit the top of the charts and they’re old games, just drop everything the same day. It changes nothing for an Xbox user.
