[00:00:00] You talk about a spot. This is great, fine road in Harrodsburg, and I'm kind of wanting to show you what we got here. I can't zoom out elegantly, but I'll just zoom out. The farmers cut hay. This property goes all the way out to this corner here. There's a corner of road to the road. And then they on the other side of that road is the Salt River. And we'll go down there and take a look at it. Real pretty. This is 6 acres. And this log home me as a pan. 3200 square feet, according to the owner. You've got a full basement. [00:00:51] Well, we'll go inside and I'll tell you more about it later. But it's only about five years old to take a look at it later. I've been out here for about an hour taking pictures. Hasn't been one car. It's out there in God's country. Very beautiful. You've got some hickory trees out front here. There's hickory nuts on the ground or butternut. Something like that. Let's go on inside. Here's the farmer doing the hay. Here we are. When you come in, you come in off the road here, you can see the sign and you just come right around here, gravel road. Everything's real level. So, I mean, you wouldn't have any problem getting in in this property.
[00:01:34] Know, it's just really nice. I really like it. And it is out here in God's country. I'll take a take a walk around back here. Kind of show you what you've got. May have to refer to the plot to know exactly where the property line is. I can see here where it's very possible where the grass is. Stop mowing. That's 100 acre farm that surrounds it. And then it goes back to the power pole that's underground from there. And then it goes back to a pin and then it goes off until like a pie shape, way out to that corner. So where that farmer is mowing, that's still all part of this piece property, which is really nice. Then they've got these Bilko type doors. You know, they're metal doors and you open them up and then you can walk down the stairs, which is really, really cool.
[00:04:30] Also, the big advantage with the gas range is if the power were ever to go off, you'd turn it on, light it with a match, and you could at least cook makes two. My boys, they we had a power outage. Big ice storm here year a year ago. And we had a power outage. We were without power for a few days. And the boy said that was their favorite time. They love that because we were cooking chili on the woodstove and all that stuff. So isn't that fun? How you trying to find the lights here? You know, how the bad thing is the good thing, right? It's an interesting anyway.
[00:05:06] You've got washer dryer stack pair here. Nice. And then one of these guys, they're. That's right here in the hallway. And then this really, really, really big master bedroom. So it is the full length of the house or the full width of the house. So it's really big. So you've got double doors here, which is real nice. Another one of these ginormous closets. I mean, like, wow, it's big. It's 6 by 7, 6 by 8, 7 by 8. Something like that.

My wife would take the big one, look at the small and knew how that works. Right. And you have double vanity here in a really big walk in shower. And it's got a little Michel here for your shampoo. I like that. Your shaver or whatever. And a little seat. Nice. And again, all the doors are real rates. Panel, race wood. I mean, they're real wood. They're not that thick stuff going down. That's good. We'll go downstairs really quick. So I'll show you out back as well.
[00:11:06] So they do lots and lots of those evergreen trees as Arbor Verde trees. And here's the garage. Wow. Which my garage was this clean. So you've got vents up there. You've got those whirlybird vents that turn by themselves. 2 operators here. Here's one. Here's one. Nice, clean, easy to car, garage, concrete floor. And then it's the regular frame, OSB and then log siding. Easy, simple and a lovely garage. You know, when I was younger, I didn't really appreciate garage too much. And I thought, well, who's gonna spend all that kind of money for a garage? And as I got older, I thought, you know what? There's a lot of truth to that.

@@BradSimmons For 100K somebody got a sweet steal. As for the original listing price,I'd love to find a place this nice for that cheap nowadays. If I did I might have to knock you in the head and sell you to some foreigner to get a down payment. One small detail on top of others that I like about the place,is the gate at the top of the stairs. The wife babysits a toddler,so that little safety detail would give some peace of mind. Weird how much more I'm into safety related things as I get older. Seems like the closer I get to 50 the more such things concern me. I also like the idea of having that walkway between the house and garage walls. Seems like that would be a nice windbreak in the winter. I was actually born in Kentucky so I'm not a big fan of weather extremes.
