You have to watch their cover of the "Ooogie Boogie Song" .. They really killed it, the bass guy Geoff (Pronounced Jeff) really shines in that one. Their new cover of the song "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons is also mindblowing! Trust me there's a lot for you to see.

High tenor (buff bearded guy): Earl Elkins Jr Tenor (bald guy): Eliezer “Eli” Jacobson (Eli is pronounced like the girl’s name Ellie) Baritone (African American guy): J None Bass (chin length hair): Geoff Castellucci (Geoff is pronounced Jeff, it amuses me how some American reactors struggle to pronounce that name, coz here in the U.K. Geoff is the more common spelling!) Beatboxer: Layne Stein Deffo watch the Oogie Boogie Song, and their latest one, Warriors. In Warriors, both Layne and J show their skills as talented violinists. I also love an old one of theirs, Road Trip. In Road Trip, you wont see J because he replaced a guy called Tony Wakim. Tony left a few years ago now to peruse other passions, I think he owns a theatre company now. Also watch more of Home Free please! The Butts Remix is hilarious, as is All About That Bass

Him and Layne are in charge of Pattycake Productions, featuring "The Villain's Lair" and "The Princess Academy" and I think Tony may be the one kidnapping the guys... 😜

I actually watched your second VoicePlay reaction first, but I gotta say, you picked the perfect cover to start with! It really showcases everybody's talents, as well as being an amazing video.

I read somewhere that Earl (the one who was the patient) had actually had some kind of health scare and that was part of the inspiration for this piece. But yes, many of their videos tend, if not to be theatrical, at least to approach from a storytelling POV.

I really like their cover of "Kiss" by Prince. But, if you're looking for creativity and imagination, you should react to "What's This?" and the "Oogie Boogie Man" from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Of all the a cappella groups I know, they do the most creative videos. As usual, great reaction. ... Guy

Voice Play was one of the competitors in the same show (The Sing Off) as Home Free was! Their bass (Geoff) was the one who did the arrangement of Elvira for Home Free and the Oak Ridge Boys which you reacted to... They are so much fun! Listen to VP's "Just Sing" with captions and it has all of their collaborators singing too.. along with Tim Foust (from Home Free ).. you will enjoy it! Love your reactions.. Watch their ( Voice Plays )Daddy Sang Bass and have you seen their Prince "Kiss"? oh my... Thanks!

Warriors, Oogie Boogie Song, Kiss, Boy Band in 5 minutes, Tennessee Whiskey, ACA TOP 10|Hits of 2019 , Sh-Boom, Phantom Of The Opera (this last one doesn't have the black guy, it has an old member of the group and it's also a feature with an amazing woman singer)...and I guess this is my favorites by them, not necessarily in the order I put them.

This is amazing! I've seen Voice Play before, but not this track. Great reaction video! You're right, there's a lot to unpack. Someday, maybe, on something like this, you could do this: Watch the video, do an initial reaction, then explain what you're going to do, stop the video, go watch a second time, and come back with more comments. I've never seen a reactor do that and I wouldn't want it all the time. But this track merits a second view before you can be expected to put your thoughts together. What do you think?

Geoff (bass) and Layne (vocal percussionist) do a lot of their arranging. Their video details will always tell you who arranged the song. Geoff has a 4.5 octave range. I don't know how big Earl's (high tenor) is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's almost that big. Eli (the bald guy) also has a wider than normal range, and his vocal skil, is amazing.

No, their videos aren't *all* theatrical like this. Only about half or maybe two thirds of them. Sometimes they do just stand around and sing, e.g., Carry on My Wayward Son, Chandelier.
