Adam Lambert didn't win American Idol. But is now lead singer for Queen. I can see a huge career for Gabriel. International tours, even a residency in Las Vegas. The voice, personality and million dollar smile is the perfect recipe for superstardom. Oh yeah, Jennifer Hudson didn't win either. Look what she went on to accomplish. Gabriel is a winner already. Someone probably already scooped him up. His talent is unprecedented. If he tours, I would be there in a heartbeat.

I am truly gutted, shocked and angry that Gabriel didn't make it through. He is probably the best pure singer to ever appear on the show. I am retired military; however, I didn't vote for the 82nd Airborne choir because I just didn't think they were very good singers. Gabriel and the acrobat brother were the only ones worthy of moving on to the final.

The exposure for him was huge and it has put him in a very steep trajectory to world wide fame now loved by millions around the world. Contests are contests, but exposure is crucial and everything in these types of shows. Beautiful performance. Gabriel is already established like Marcelito Pomoy was before getting anywhere near AGT. Another singer with a massive (and currently unhappy with AGT) fan base. Unfortunately there are not as many Brazilian expat communities in the USA as there are Filipino ones. We will have to see what Gabriel does next. Roland Abante joined his mentor Marcelito on tour in the USA so he had a softer landing than Gabriel did. Gabriel might go for a European tour instead of America/Canada.

From what i have heard is only Americans were supposed to be able to vote but the people in indonesia going for Putri Ariani figured out they could use a VPN snd vote from Indonesia and they all logged on and voted for everyone but Gabriel because he was a threat to her winning!
