Dimash is unbelievable, I have been following him for 2 years now and he still puts me under a shower of chills... he doesn't fit in my mind! Dimash is a "master class" for any performer or musician...In Russia and some other Eurasian coutries, the audience does not stand..but if you don't watch the video to the end you miss how they do show love and appreciation...The gentleman in the white shirt who is standing is master composer Igor Krutoy, and this is the first time he heard Dimash..This is about to change musical history...Igor will come out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash, and write several new epic songs for Dimash....One of which is "Olympico"...which Igor composed for Dimash to sing ate the European Olypic games last year...and there is talk about making it the official song for the Tokyo games...So always watch to the end....

yes, apparently some music teachers actually teach boys as they're going thru puberty to try and retain the high parts of their voice. Though even with training it's far from guaranteed and I think requires both so so much training and dedication, but also to be biologically "made" for singing (I imagine it has to do with the larynx or something?). I think Dimash must have had the best of both. Like he's biologically perfectly made to sing, and he loves it so much he was truly willing to put in the time and had the right teacher to do..whatever you have to do to retain the high part of your range as you develop.

Dimash is an incredible vocalist! He just turned 26 at the end of May. This video is from last year, I believe. Yep, his range is crazy (F1 to D8 whistle). He's such a performer and storyteller. He always says he wants his audience to feel the words and emotions, and he does that by singing. His breath control is insane! I know he swims (under water). It helps that he was born into a musical family, but he was also blessed with perfect pitch. I'm happy to see you on this Dimash journey. Do not worry. There always seems to be someone who complains. Just kick in and watch all of Dimash and enjoy the ride because you will never regret it. Don't you wish you had known about him when he did his concert in New York this past December? It was incredible. You think he is powerful on video? In person it is just mesmerizing. Another incredible artist you will want to check out is Hua Chenyu out of China. Another multi-talented mesmerizing artist. He has an army of fans all over the world and growing by the second. Laura, The 'someones who complain' are American citizens who are getting brutalized by our own government. Yes, enjoy Dimash, who i love dearly. But the people who are "complaining" are about to get tired of being ignored. Tonight, many watch and listen to Dimash. Tomorrow, many of them march. Peacefully, as is their Constitutional right. Dismissing them as unimportant is...the act of a spoiled person who foolishly cares nothing for the less fortunate. If you're wondering, 24 seconds. Dimash on the 3rd big note that just kept going up he held that and then the vocal gymnastics after that (I mean anyone else running like that would not just pull a hammy but their entire body and be gasping after). Count for yourself but 24 seconds. Some people like Dimash. Some don't. Everyone has differing tastes in music and different music is "good" to different ones of us. Personally I think he's on another level of greatness. I do have a request for you to react to. Not a Dimash one. It's from the group Shinedown. It's a song called "Atlas Falls" and it's a song they put out to benefit front line workers for Covid-19. It too has overtones that can apply to the abhorent murder of Mr. Floyd. I don't know many other singers that could sing a 23 second phrase, especially with the slide, key change, plus riffs and runs. I don't know of ANY other singers who could pull it off in the middle of a song, much less casually continue singing afterwards. Dude is unique. OK, Dime Yea means Give Me. As in give me my sinful passion, as in forbidden passion. The crazy sound you hear is a mid-eastern sound, and it could be considered a keening, grieving, and mourning for the passion he craves and cannot have. That last run lasts 21 seconds. At the time of this video he is about 23. He has been training since he was 5 yrs old. He has perfect pitch. His range is approaching (at age 26 now) 7 octaves. He is 6ft 3 in, and is about a slim as a whippet. He uses his body with natural grace and strength in his movements like a ballet dancer. Sings in 12 (so far) languages -- Kazakh, Russian, Mandarin, English, Italian, French, Uzbek, Turkish, Ukrainian, Spanish, Kyrgyz, and Serbian.

I can easily believe your reactions. I’ve seen reactors fall out of their chairs, off couches. I’ve seen eyes pop and jaws drop. Reactors have thrown their hats at the screen, ripped off their earphones, walked out of the room. I’ve seen them laugh uncontrollably for release, stammer, sit in silence, curse, and cry.
