The growing enthusiasm created by the surprise change in Lil Yachty's music really go me enthused in the content. You know, 2023 has started off REALLY slowly in terms of music. There's been some good albums but nothing remarkable. I've been waiting for the first truly great album of the year to drop, as I feel like we've been in kind of a musical drought for the past 27 days. BUT I DIDN'T THINK THE THING THAT WOULD ABSOLVE US OF THIS DROUGHT WOULD BE LIL YACHTY DROPPING A PSYCHEDELIC ROCK ALBUM. I thought Poland was amusing (I am half Polish after all), but going from that to an album that could credibly be declared an Album of the Year contender is absolutely astonishing. And the amazing thing about this album is I’ve listened through it at least three or four times since yesterday and there’s not a weak track in it. Even the failure interlude is entertaining.

I have never once listened to a Lil Yachty album but this one was the best thing I’ve ever heard from him. the Black Seminole was a 10 for me and the album as a whole was a solid 8. This one was damn good

Reach the sunshine is my favorite outro track I have heard in a while. despite how good the rest of the album is, that stood out in a way that felt significant
@Foeisudhxj
@Foeisudhxj Жыл бұрын
I think the reason why its so good and works well as an outro is that it feels like it could be an intro. Its sound is mysterious, leaves us with questions, and its climactic. Which is perfect for an outro because it leaves us wondering what he will do next. It doesnt feel like a resolution and thats exactly why its such a good resolution. One of my favs off of the album.

Im really happy to hear this album for the sole purpose that this will be some peoples first experience of psych-rock and they might get hooked on the sound. Cant wait for more people to go "Omg i love Found God in a Tomato" and all the things ive been saying for years lol. I cant imagine a better intro into the sound than a rapper turned soul musician! Much love you all

Flawed at first listen. Hopefully the vocals dont wear me out over time. The production, however, i think is stellar. Would be great to see yachty working with artists and exec producing albums. He has a unique artistic prowess that maybe doesnt always translate into lyrical content or even vocal ability.

The production is top tier but I can’t act like the singing is something I wanna hear often. I think Yachty is a very likeable person and that has a lot to do with the hype. I just wonder if the novelty will wear off if he continues to go down this path. I definitely respect the album and had a great time listening tho

I'm speading the message I've been preaching for YEARS now. Yatchy is the most underrated rapper ever. He's had this quality SINCE THE BEGINNING but you all are fake af just because he slightly mumbles. You all discredited his early works but NOW you all back him after he fully switches, when I and anyone who actually listens to Yatchy saw this coming ages ago. Disgraceful the way this trash community switches up so quickly. It's disgusting
