Hi Brad. Madelman was a Spanish toy company active in the 1970s and early 1980s. Its action figures were copies of GI Joe/Action Man figures, only more cheaply made, with vehicles and card-backed accessory sets. Their character designs were also similar: soldiers, sailors, explorers, divers, sportsmen etc, and a few wierder subjects before they went bust in 1983. The Cosmic (Space) figures are the most sought after here in the UK and in Europe. Madelman did buy the Superman Movie licence, but only made three toys: a Supes action figure which is extremely rare today, the dune buggy you feature, and a Superman branded helicopter. Both of these vehicles were repaints of previously issued toys or maybe of old unsold stock. No other superheroes to my knowledge.

For some inexplicable reason, my grandfather kept a NRFB Transformer that might've been Voltron on top of his armoire. From aged 5-8, would ask my grandfather could i have it or at least open it. His answer was always the same: "No, buddy. That's mine." Now my grandfather hardly EVER said "No" to me, so it was always puzzling. What on earth would an old man, who was born in the early 1920s, want with a transformer? My grandfather passed away 5 years ago and i never got to the bottom of it. i haven't thought about that until now.

Just a big theory , buttt I think the reason you find a lot of older older older toys factory sealed , is the because of backstock , and like how you always find whole factory boxes full of a certain figure or certain run of toys , and after time goes down like okay now it’s split up but you get what I’m saying :) love your videos been a fan for a long time

In 85 at 15 I was collecting toys and comics would buy two want to read for comics one to collect. And for the action figures depending on which one it is some I still play with and put it up so yes there were still people collecting at that age.
