I too hate overpriced figures. Also, weird how so many sellers don't understand that just because they list their stock for a super high price, it doesn't mean people are obligated to/are going to purchase it; no matter how rare they claim a common product to be. I've seen some things sit on eBay for years, continually relisted.

I recognize the seller for the Green Lantern at the beginning segment, they sell tons of garbage figure stock from various toy lines for overinflated prices. So they definitely intended for someone to pay 2K+ for it.

These prices are crazy. For example I buy all of my McFarlane DC Action figures at retail stores for $19.99. I see them on eBay for $80.00 plus $10.00 shipping. It’s insane.

I just ordered the Flash/Red Death 2 pack for $40 on Amazon. People on eBay were selling them for $60 and up. Actually saw a seller selling theirs for $100 and another seller that wanted $50 (plus shipping) for just the Red Death figure by itself. Smh

great vid Brad. yeah those spinmaster Mattel bats and sups are shady as hell. if you look close on the sups you can see there should be bands where the arms are in the packaging so. defo a repack scam going on. I remember there was (still is) a seller on ebay offering a 50th anniversary Gi joe vipers pit set but with swapped out figures for the cobra trooper and beachhead . they where a 08 beachhead figure and a 2013 $gen figure mashed in. I called him out on it and he said it was legit. he's still looking for nearly $100 for it lol.

How much do you wanna bet the rare light blue Superman is actually a MattyCollector exclusive Superpowers Superman being past off as the unreleased Superman? They are very difficult to tell apart, especially from just pictures. I know the blue is supposed to be different (but I've honestly never seen a picture that shows the difference), but I'm sure it could fool a few people.

Hi, I really enjoy your videos. The figure swapping is indeed an issue I see it many times in Toronto, I know you are Canadian so I am surprised you have seen this happen rarely, probably in the big North American cities it is a common thing . The thing about E Bay is I find they will sell at a reasonable price but gouge you at the shipping cost . There are people who will sell a figure for $ 5 more on Kijiji . To ease the frustration with searching . I think that could be the way to go for the hot figure that is difficult to find. But if they charge way more than $ 5 above retail than I don 't buy. We , as collectors , really need to know the difference.

I saw a fig swap at a Walmart here in CA of a Mattel Multiverse Red Hood, but the figure itself was a Poe from Star Wars with the head of Lord Zedd from power rangers, and another Star Wars head included. It was so obviously not the right figure it was hilarious

Did you see the Spin Master DC 6" Batman/ King Shark and Batman/ Bane 2 packs....and i think you said in a previous video the SM was a Canadian company, so why all the early reviews are from Mexico or south west in the states!!?? technically WE should be getting them 1st!!!
