This was a lifesaver. I realized that my mistake with operating this was that I thought I had to hit the return button after setting the temp, not knowing it would exit the “setting” screen by itself, so I’ve probably inadvertently been telling it to go back to the previously set temp after however many cycles it goes for before returning. The more you know.

Thank you! After a power outage (and my batteries died) when I went to reset I forgot about the hold button. Without that the word "day" kept flashing and my temp setting, after a while, returned to a previous or default. Problem solved, so thanks.

@@303jrios The AC never kicked on even after the delay. 98 degrees in Texas, its brutal. I tried it over and over. The fan blower is on but no cold air. When you leave it alone it it kicks on when it wants to. I even reset all the programming for the week and weekends. I still got nothing.
