I'm from Odisha, and I agreed from the details that you mentioned. Jagannath temple is all about mystery. Like 1) A natural No fly zone 2) Mystery of cooking pots. 3) Flag Floats to the opposite direction of wind. 4) The quantity of cooked food inside the temple remains same the entire year. And the same prasadam can feed whatever be the number of devotees - a few thousand people or 20 lakh people. It never gets wasted. 5)On entering from Singhadwara, as one takes the first step inside the Temple, you can’t hear any sound produced by the ocean. But when you cross the same step outside the Temple, you can hear it. 6)Normally during day-time, the wind blows from the sea to the land and in the evening, the opposite happens. But in Puri, the opposite happens. and many more are there like this.

When Lord Krishna left the body, he was cremated, his whole body was mixed in the five elements but his heart was beating like a normal living man and he was absolutely safe, his heart is safe till today which is Lord Jagannath that lives inside the wooden idol and beats in the same way, very few people know this. Mahaprabhu's great secret Cleaning is done with a gold broom. Mahaprabhu Jagannath (Shri Krishna) is also called the Lord of Kaliyuga. The idol of Mahaprabhu is changed every 12 years, at that time the entire city of Puri is blacked out i.e. the lights of the entire city are switched off. After the lights are turned off, the crpf army surrounds the temple premises from all sides... at that time no one can enter the temple... There is a thick darkness inside the temple... the priest's eyes are bandaged... the priest has gloves in his hand.. Till date no one knows what is this brahma substance... no one has seen it till date. ..For thousands of years it is being transferred from one idol to another... This is a supernatural substance, just by touching it, the rags of a person's body fly away.. This brahma substance is related to Lord Shri Krishna.. But what is it, no one knows... this whole process every 12 years. I happen once... at that time the security is very high... But till date no priest has been able to tell what is there in the idol of Mahaprabhu Jagannath??? Some priests say that when we took him in his hand, he was jumping like a rabbit...there was a blindfold...we were only able to feel if we had gloves in hand... Even today, on the occasion of Jagannath Yatra, the king of Puri himself comes to sweep with a gold broom. The sound of ocean waves is not heard inside as soon as you take the first step inside from the lion gate of Lord Jagannath temple, while the surprising thing is that as soon as you take a step out of the temple, the sound of the ocean will be heard. You must have seen birds sitting and flying on the summit of most of the temples, but no bird passes over the Jagannath temple. The flag always flies in the opposite direction of the wind The main peak of Lord Jagannath Temple does not cast a shadow at any time of the day. The flag situated on the 45-storey peak of Lord Jagannath temple is changed daily, it is believed that if the flag is not changed even for a day, the temple will be closed for 18 years. Similarly, there is also a Sudarshan Chakra on the top of Lord Jagannath Temple, which, when viewed from every direction, faces towards you. In the kitchen of Lord Jagannath temple, 7 earthen pots are placed on top of each other to cook the prasad, which is cooked by a wood fire, during which the dish of the pot placed on the top is cooked first. The Prasad made every day in Lord Jagannath temple never diminishes for the devotees, but the surprising thing is that as soon as the doors of the temple are closed, the prasad also ends. All these are surprising.

I'm a fan of Praveen Sir's works and his knowledge.I have few intriguing questions directed to Praveen Sir: - Why it did not affect the Hunter who directly touched it and saw it? - How did the king know that it was Lord Krishna's heart ( if it was placed on a wooden plank and possibly travelled 100's or 1000's of Kilometers) - How come the king and others who saw the Heart and possibly touched it, were not impacted by it's brilliance/conductivity? Coming from Odisha, the state which boasts of the city of Puri and this divine temple, I have witnessed this "heart Transplantation" along with my dad and paternal grandparents in the year 1996. Typically called NABAKALEBARA, this old body to new body transplantation happens every 12 or 19 years, based on the interesting reading of lunar calendars , wherein the year which will have two full moons in the same month of ASHADHA. That is chosen as the Nabakalebara year and the main priest would automatically dream of the site and the holy tree (DARU BRAHMA) which would then be cut and prepared for the new idol formation. One of the most marvellous and ancient scientific advancements I would say, it defeats me every time I see its magnificence and uncanny rituals that surround the process. Switching off the power grid for the entire city for a specific duration at the peak time of pitch midnight darkness, blindfolding of the presiding priests, the temple being fully evacuated, etc. are just few of the many secretive things that happen inside the temple during that time. I m so blessed that in my 30 years of life so far, I witnessed two times already (once in the town and once on TV live--though the transplantation time is full pitch darkness as they show outside part of the temple obviously!)--once in 1996 and the last one in 2015.

Just now in 2020 CE the simplest possible form of life, a virus, threatens to kill tens of millions, perhaps 100 million or more, before it has run its course. So our situation is that we have immensely sophisticated technologies and learning at our disposal, yet all of these did not prevent us from becoming stricken with the simplest of life-forms. Why is that? How could we go to the moon and back, but now be laid low by something that is barely alive? Technology allows us to create a problem which threatens to kill us, yet we believe another still future technology will allow us to solve the problem, although it was that approach which got us into this situation! Almost every civilisation that we call world class failed because their agriculture was unable to sustain enough of the population to continue its way of life. The past 100 years saw us create a monocultural and industrial approach to agriculture, now the signs are abundantly clear that it is near collapse, and fail us utterly. There will be VERY few who know how to restart this insanely synthetic approach to life and living! If we continue using synthetic fertiliser materials, then we'll have to first build incredibly complicated industries to have them available for our new age farmer to return to the madness. Meanwhile, those who continued to grow more modestly on smaller plots of ground, say 100 acres or less, will be able to carry on as they did. With animal manures, compost, plowing under of legumes, and crop rotation, small market gardeners will carry on. When I was a preteen in Chicago, I was fascinated by the Adler planetarium, which led me to the writings of Dr George Gamow, an English astrophysicist, who wrote about his science for the masses. Certain of his writing indelibly impressed itself on me, and formed my Outlook, which I'm now sharing with you. He proposed that our sense of time was terribly limited: we need to think of time in terms of 100,000 year blocks. I quite agree, and think to honour him we should call each of the blocks a Gamow. Archaeology now believes that humans organised as society as long ago as 400,000 years, or 4 Gamows. How much easier it is to say 4 Gamows than 400,000 years! They went on to build in stone, so their roads and buildings would last indefinitely. They developed a special cement concrete using volcanic ash that's superior to any concrete we have. But Rome, as we are now, was subject to plagues, corrupt governments, and overly ambitious emperors who made many foolish mistakes. But again, we believe we learned from these and will not make the same errors. Microbes don't believe anything and certainly don't seem to be alive in the way we understand living. Yet the entire industrial world has ground to a halt because of what a virus has done, in less than 6 months! This happened to the later Roman Empire not once but twice, so 500 years after Augustus it came to an effective end and sank into what we now call the Dark Ages. It would be another 1500 years before the West recovered enough to have the same global trade that the Romans had achieved, from China to Spain and Britain. So go about your daily life as you always have, but take time to think about these things, and what's happening today worldwide, and let that be your guide. Few months later I got a call telling me that my girlfriend is expecting. I brought up that situation I was in a few months earlier. Then the guy (cop) said it was your( me) baby. That cops told me that he is giving that girl baby to me "I give you the baby" i was shocked and told him that he needs to take responsibility for his actions. The Daha Sanskar Karya of KRISHNA was carried out in presence of some of his family members where Panchu Pandavas were also present. It was Arjuna who Did Asthi Visarjan (immersion) & of the Left out of Lord SHRI KRISHNA'S body in Mahodadhi means in Sea near The then Immersed City Dwaraka. The part of body of KRISHNA which wasn't burnt was his Heart which was found by a Sabar King and he started worshipping in the form of Nila Madhava (Blue Madhava). Later it was found by The Kind of Puri who for his temple searching for the God to Come and doing Austerity. After his succesful Austerity As Per Lord Brahma's Blessing The King Became Successful in finding Nila Madhava. & The Story Goes On. But the Hunter who Shot to SHRI KRISHNA never burnt Him.

I do remember my Mother telling me that the person who changes the Brahma Padartha is a senior Priest in the temple and that he reaches the Lotus Feet of Lord Krishna in a fortnight or a month. I had initially thought that the material was actually the ashes of Lord Krishna's mortal body. I remember that there's a Jagannath Burial Ground at Puri (correct me if I'm wrong). But as you have requested for comments, I would like to say that understanding this Brahma Padartha requires the Blessings and permission of the Supreme Lord Krishna.
