Swamiji, your statement " 'Brahm Satyam jaganmithyaa' is not from upanishad " is not true. It is part of the mantra number 35 of Niralambopanishad . तप इति च ब्रह्म सत्यं जगत्-मिथ्या इति अपरोक्ष ज्ञानाग्निना । ...।।35।।

"Adi Shankara's Brahmajnanavalimala has the complete verse. Half verse "ब्रह्म सत्यं जगन्मिथ्या" is also present in Niralamba Upanishad. तप इति च ब्रह्म सत्यं जगन्मिथ्ये त्यपरोक्ष ज्ञानाग्निना ब्रह्माद्यैश्वर्याशासिद्धसङ्कल्प बीजसन्तापं तपः । tapa iti ca brahma satyaṃ jaganmithyetyaparokṣa- jñānāgninā brahmādyaiśvaryāśāsiddhasaṅkalpa- bījasantāpaṃ tapaḥ । Translation from Nitaaiveda: Spiritual austerity is austerity where the fire of transcendental knowledge, which teaches "This material world is an illusion", burns away the desire to have powers and opulences like Brahma and others. " -The Destroyer♦ Looks like you are right @niteeshkd, Niralamba Upanishad is one of the 108 Upanishads so it is an authentic scripture. But it's still not central teaching of upanishad.

Sufism is derivative of Shaivism, and Zen is dhyana from the 112 steps in shaivism. Advaita Vedanta predates both.
