@dejikay2564 Certainly India has no plan to do that. Japan have offered us or say request us to form an Asian NATO. But India outrightly rejected this offer. I think India rejected just because India doesn't want stop diplomatic talks with China. That will affect BRICS as well

India is missing out on many defence opportunities just becz of lenthy and all the bureaucratic hurdles. Same opportunity both in defence,economy and tech was is front of china and they turned it into a revolution and look at them today and look what we are doing with all the servings on the table just seeing and smelling them istead of confidently picking up something to eat just becz no one wants to be blamed if the decison goes wrong(in short gov wants that armed forces remain accountable for their purchases and things and armed forces wants gov to be accountable for purchases ìf something goes wrong that's why we have mrfa stuck for 20 years) other thing we are mising out on are exports becz we don't want get branded as weapon supplier for war and killings but dude no one cares the only motive of any weapons is to do maximum damage so why worry about your image,just go ahead with anyone who wants weapons especially if it is against china then we should arm their neighnours even if it means we have to bear the cost. China is doing the same for pakistan and bangladesh they literally give out every weapon in the name of loans but everyone knows that it is just for arming them against india even if paksitan doesn't pay any money then also they got all the sophisticated techs from china in the name of long term loan but reality is china wants to deter and surround india. We should act same way even if we have to give our few billion dollars in loan to these countries then we should do that it is a startegic decison which can't be weighed in terms of money.
