The original brahms (the one who died) was compelled/controlled just like Judes is in this movie, and just like several others boys. @@jello7177 In the first movie he was never haunted. They wrote this movie to make it so that he was, and ruined the whole lore of the first movie just to follow the typical "haunted doll" train. The story of the man in the walls moving the doll and not the doll being possessed is what made the movie so memorable in the first place. Instead they went the easy route and made him Vecna 2.0 out to get your sons.

in the boy 1, the mom was the babysitter of brahms in his doll form. Her abusive ex boyfriend came and broke the doll. the now older brahms emerged from the walls of the house and killed the ex. As for the babysitter, she put him to bed. while she was giving brahms a goodnight kiss, she had stabbed him with a screwdriver. Brahms has seen to be dead. At the end of the movie, brahms broken doll is show being glued back together, which is why he is show here. As for the doll moving around, it wasn't moving by itself, the real brahms in the walls has been moving it all along. The mother shown here is the old babysitter of brahms. Supposedly, she has forgotten about her experience with brams and has moved into the same house she had babysitter him in. Now please like for this explanation :)

@@Numberonemikelover noo- Brahms DID survive. He killed Emily(I think her name was), or his childhood friend. He was then burnt in a fire but never died. He lived within the walls and his parents knew all about it. At some point tho, Brahms became possessive, nearly holding his parents captive with “the rules”(it IS mentioned several times that he was “odd”). The parents ended up k!ll!ng themselves bc they couldn’t handle it.

In the first movie, when cole smashed brahms (doll) head, the whole house started moving and shaking just like in second movie when the guy did the same, so this means that the possessed doll idea was from the beginning which kinda sucks cuz it would've been much more interesting if they just kept the real brahms alive and made him the real villain instead of ghost bs in the sequel as well✋️😭
