Just some minor suggestions, I noticed when you gave tips you also took opportunities to advertise for your channel. For example, when you gave tips on which classes to pick, you followed up by adverting your other videos on those individual classes which is justifiable but shortly afterward you followed up with another advertisement where you spoke about your streaming schedule. So the breakdown is basically a tip followed by advertisement #1 which is then followed by advertisement #2, this added length to your video and also interrupted the flow of you just providing tips after tips after tips. So my first suggestion is to have those info displayed as text on the screen so the advertisements you need to make as a content creator would not interrupt the flow of the relevant topic in your video. Another minor suggestion is speed, I played the video at 1.5x speed and to me it still sounded like you are talking in regular speed. 23 reasons are a lot, maybe timestamp the video?

If you are not in a hurry, you CAN do something about the price of the next expansion: Just wait till the end of the year (if you start from scratch, you will be busy with the base game and the previous expansions for a LONG time); around Black Friday the current expansion is usually available for 20-30 €.

Don't rush to the "endgame." If you rush though quests just to level up faster, you'll miss out on one of the best parts of ESO: it's story. Elder Scrolls Online puts the "RPG" back in "MMORPG" with arguably the best quest design in the business, so take your time with quests to get the full experience. It's not like there's any rush to level up anyways, since ESO does horizontal instead of vertical progression _and_ it levels every area to your character.

I think ZOS with their "quality" of development and testing are unable to deliver on their promises and spellcrafting and Arcanist will be another disaster after years of promises/fails.

I can confirm the Cyrodill intro quest still gets you to level 3 for your +30% mount speed in the Assault skill line. You just have to make sure you don't accidentally skip any parts of the quest. I accidentally skipped the catapult training part at the end of the quest on one character and it ended the quest early. Now I'm at level 2 on my Assault line on that character and now I have to grind to 3 with a super slow horse! FML 😅

Bonus tip number 24 don't run through areas without looking around first. Take everything in watch and listen to the your quest. If you're in a group that over has already done these things they will probably run through. But I'm telling you if you do solo and do you want to look around take your time don't run like everybody. Keep in mind there's so many beautiful things to look at on this game. They're wonderful stories with major actors doing the voices. It's a simply incredible. Like with this beautiful man says take your time. Take it all in and enjoy it. I've been playing for about five years now. I'm still learning about this BIG BEAUTIFUL GAME

if it was mentionned and I didn't realise then I'm sorry but pretty simply: don't forget to join the fighter's guild and mage's guild when you make it past the tutorial zones, which would be reaching Daggerfall for the Daggerfall covenant, Davon's Watch for the Ebonheart Pact and Vulkhel Guard for the Aldmeri Dominion. You can also get a quest for the undaunted skill line at lvl 10 from the Rosy Lion in Daggerfall, the Fish Stink in Davon's Watch and I believe Salted Wings Tavern in Vulkhel Guard. Those are very useful skill lines to train as you play content.

Re the Armory system: You get 2 build slots to start. Make the first one a base build with no morphs. You can wait until you get the change scrolls for attributes and skills, so you don't have to pay gold at a shrine. Keep this first build completely blank -- no attributes, skills, morphs or champion points chosen. You can always reload this build when you want to try out a new build later, or when you need to change morphs or something. Never pay again. Buy extra slots from the crown store as you need them - money well spent.

"Should I get ESO+" Honestly, while ESO+ is nice, it's most definitely not a requirement, nor would I personally recommend it to anyone new. Double bank space seems 'good', but in reality, it's pretty negible. The only need for that amount of bank-space (if you're new), is if you're collecting crafting materials, and you're only needing bank\inventory space for collecting if you don't have the crafting bag... Kind of an catch 22. Not using ESO+, I have 129 inventory space (+9 from horse), and 180 bank space. It's taken me < 2 weeks to get this simply by spending all gold I aquire (from quests, stealing, etc) on it. 70 of my inventory space is used for crafting materials, and 150 of my bank is used for the same (refined material mostly, or provision items). The only bonus of ESO+ that's worth it (for a new player), is access to the summerset Isle for jewlery crafting, and the double furniture limit. Neither of these are really worth putting money into ESO+ initially, and so I suggest this when one has cleared the base-game, Morrowind, and whatever other content one has access to, and is looking for even more content.

If you are a new player, take what this guy says with a grain of salt. A lot of what he says is very much true, but there are some serious and minor inaccurate and missing information. For starters, he is wrong on where the base alliance faction quests start. There are starter islands that you go to before the locations he mentioned. They are catered to new players and will ease you into the game a bit more. Lucky Ghost has a great guide for what order to do quest in on his website. The one major issue that I saw was the info he gave on leveling skill lines. The only lines that level the way he said are weapon and class lines, the others all level up in various ways specific to the line in question. He said the guild lines level up by putting them on your bar. They do not. The fighter requires killing undead and dedra, Mage collecting lorebooks and doing the dailies, undaunted requires dungeons, delves, and dailies. The one thing I wholeheartedly agree with him on is what he said about builds. Definitely don't chase metas, and just play what and how you want.

I just want the game to have a class change token. Starting a new toon after beating every story until blackwood and having to starting again is just sad. ESO+ is a must for if you want to craft (now, or ever). However, it is ALSO a must if you obsessively loot *everything* you see even if you don't want to craft! Why? Because it will siphon off all the crafting materials to the craft bag, leaving room for shiny things :D As for the Mount Speed quest. I recently did this and can attest that it didn't exactly follow the guide, but I was able to make it though. Also at the end, the stat page did not indicate that my riding speed increased - it had the same 3% or whatever it was already (from training). However, upon completing and selecting the Passive (which also didn't really specify an increase in speed) - it was definitely faster. So it still seemed to work for me, even though the game wasn't really saying it would/should.

A very big tip IMO is also that you should NOT farm hard to get builds until you're 160 CP. Only then, you will not have to upgrade your gear again

when it comes to the armor you gain exp even if you don't have the line unlocked, so say you have 2 pieces of heavy on but never equip the third piece you're still gaining heavy armor exp and once you equip three pieces can see your progress :D

ESO was a lot more fun before champion points. Players actually had to learn the mechanics of fights in dungeons. Now every dungeon run is just a very rapid rush through. There is no longer a feeling of accomplishment. Why bother gearing up when you can dominate in PVP and dungeons while wearing trash items? If I was asked whether to play ESO in 2024, then I'd have to change my answer to NO!

Play it your way! For me, keeping it fun is the main thing and overpowered builds lead to boredom as everting becomes too easy. My current build is considered the worst, a stamina night blade that uses sword and shield, there is no way to overpower anything and victories are earned. I can solo dungeons, but it can be hard to do and rewarding when I get done.

8:29 No offense, but this is not true. I've been grinding Falkreath Hold for weeks now trying to complete the Pillar orf Nirn set, and it keeps dropping pieces that I already have. I'm missing all the metal weapons (swords, maces, axes, and daggers) and they will simply not drop, no matter how many times I do that stupid dungeon. Very frustrating. And this is not an isolated case with Falkreath Hold alone. I've been playing for two years, and I have a lot of incomplete sets from dungeons that I've must have done dozens of times but they just won't drop that last one or two pieces that I'm missing. Delve and overland bosses, yes, they will drop everything in a single day. Dungeons, however, are an RNG lottery.

Only thing that didn’t seem to be true for me. I tried eso on launch so I already had the base game but no expansions. Bought the necrom (newest expansion at the current time) upgrade but it did not give me access to any of the previous expansions. So if you’re someone like me who doesn’t have the previous expansions, you have to buy the full necrom package not the upgrade. Assuming you aren’t going to get eso+. Too much talking.Expaining why you're explaining is worthless an wastes time for no reason. I found myself skipping a ton of the video because of it. Dont thank patreons at the start of the video. Do it at the end. Don't talk about dlcs for so long. Most tips are worthless players allready know and overall the talking could be condensed down to one short 5 minute video with annotations and marks where you talk about what, rather than a 20 minute video with a bunch of worthless explaining and no one can see where you talk about what. There's better tips videos out there. Watch them. Learn to be brief.

First, really good video! Get your companions as early as possible! You can level them up as you level up. Pay attention to their skills too. For example Mirri Elendis works well as a healer. All of them have the ability to cause some major damage too.

I think that it should be stressed that when you buy pack with expansions then you get only chapters and not all expansions. I also through that I will get everything with the bundle and I was suprised. New player does not know the difference.

Thank you for this. I am brand new to eso but not MMOs. I am 2 weeks in with limited game play due to work, so mainly weekends. I am in love with the questing, to what I feel is a detriment, because other than public dungeons I've yet to run any thus far. I am now 48 and the Undaunted seems daunting since I'm a new player. I think I have ptsd from random Dungeons from other toxic MMOs, I'm calling you out WoW. I play on NA and have had no luck getting replies on any guild applications. How understanding are player for Undaunted dailies towards newer players?

Undaunted dailies for delves are pretty easy for the most part, if that is what you are asking.

@@Adam_Lutz I am still learning this so my explanations are off. I just got the message from the Undaunted to meet them . I did the daily Delve quest but I also pledged to do something for them and it looks like the are in an instant, a doorway with a plus on it. I stumbled into one while questing call the Banished cells, I soloed the first 2 rooms with my companion before getting my butt handed to me then I realized it was for group content. The quest I guess is how forgiving is the eso community with newer players in dungeon runs?

Dungeons aren't as scary as you think. If you're able to solo content semi well, you would be good enough to do a dungeon with a group. Groups in ESO aren't like other MMOS, the class system is a little loose. You don't necessarily have a tank that holds aggro on everything, only the hard hitting mobs. Just do one and you'll see it's nothing to worry about.

Sorry, but if people lack the IQ to understand the well-explained (at least on Steam) differences between the TWO versions, then they're too dumb to understand the basics of any MMO, and should stay away. A few more points: Anyone considering to buy crowns, should NOT do that. Sub for ESO+ instead. That gives more crowns per $ than simply buying crowns, and you get all those benefits. "Do not buy items in the crown store / only buy things you like that are cosmetics". Well, that first part depends. If you're going to play this game a lot, and can afford it, I would recommend buying the 3 inventory pets (or was it mounts?) that each add 5 to your inventory. Also, if you're not subscribing (ESO+), you WILL have to pay for dungeon access and other DLCs. And I disagree 100% about cosmetics - DO NOT spend money on that unless you're rich. Spending $20-30 on a single cosmetic set is ridiculous, imo - the game doesn't lack cosmetic options as it is, without extra costs. You didn't mention maybe the MOST IMPORTANT TIP OF ALL (imo): Addons. Get the Minion addon manager. Essential addons are LoreBooks and SkyShards, others depends on preferences (i love MiniMap by FyraKin, Calamath's Quest Tracker and a whole lot more. Always check for depencies, meaning read the addon's description to see which sub-addons it needs, and install those too, it's supereasy. Also, for many addons, you should check their options ingame to customize them to your likings.

Honestly id say just always buy the base game and get ESO+, you get all the dlc, if only for the duration of ESO+, but you get all the extra benefits ESO+ offers and you can always use the monthly free crowns to buy the DLCS you want for free. So say you buy ESO when its on sale for 7 and you buy eso+ for a month at a time your spending just over $22, sure you gotta pay 15 every month but simply add it into your budget and you wont regret it

There IS something you can do if you don't want to pay for the 40 expansion. I don't buy into the new hype for every chapter. The last two were severely disappointing. I just buy every second chapter. Then it's 20 per chapter.

If you have a sub, you can get the 30% mount speed increase without ever doing PvP. As a daily reward ... which you get when you sub ... you will eventually get the equivalent of PvP points. One or 2 of these will easily upgrade Assault enough to get the skill line open.

I play duel roles a lot, like Healer / DPS One my main bar I put main build idea like Healer and on the back bar is the DPS build. Kind of one bar builds. My healing key is 4 on all my chars so I do not get confused when is my healing is. Spamables AOE, or most used skills in order are 1, 2, 3 and 5 is big but least used skill. I used the arrow keys and number pad area on the KB not the usually WASD most gamer's used. I use base Healer-DPS "mode" for solo play and such, but in Group content if needed I can go "full Healer Mode" if the group need it. In full healer mode, I can not do much damage but it will suck for solo play. (same problem for tanks). For solo play. I can do damage and content, but can healer too to some extent. Hard content or silly players, I can step back just work on keep them alive more than doing damage. Tanks face like issues. I do more solo content than group content, However, I like to play support the best if I am in a group.

I have tested the pvp mount speed. For short distances it's actually better to run-sprint because it takes 2 sec to get on the mount. I've tested it 10 sec gallop +2 sec mounting=12, run-sprint=13. I don't have any orther speeding buffs :)

I have never used the Cyrodyll quest to level skills in Alliance War - Assault and the passive continuous attack, which gives 30% mount speed (you only need the 1 point in this skill). Instead, when I reach level 10 I go to the battle master, pick up the quest he has to do a battle ground and do a 1 or 2 battlegrounds. It levels the skills just fine.

I used to just play how I want and have fun since I love games like this. Massive open world, shit ton of players and things to do. I’ve done this for years until I started taking breaks from eso, coming back and then all of a sudden people have op armor. I really enjoy pvp because I play pve way too much. I’d say I’m pretty decent at the game but lose ridiculously fast to people who’s gear sets is just better. I normally don’t mind losing because the experience helps you learn but it really seems like going against some people is like fighting Thanos.

You have multiple slots, try different characters, and many things are account based so it can actually make things easier. Ember is easy for a new character to get and is very close to the start point in High Isles, and she says the funniest things. Log on and do crafting missions daily if possible for the log in bonus. crafting is best done if you have ESO+ due to the crafting bag

Getting the Alliance line up to 3 still works, did it a few days ago. It might be in the PvP zone, but it's in the safe spot so people shouldn't fear getting ganked. The enemy can't get to you where the quest takes place.

You can sell to a vendor unknown gear and once they are not available for you to buy back you automatically learn how to make them.
