I’d say templar, but mag and stamplar are both just “jabs and maybe something else.” I want them to nerf jabs. Its such a bloated skill making every other spammable for the class worthless unless its an execute.

the best way i found to get a good rotation with a magcro is always remember 2 skills then blastbones. it has times where it acts weird but 99.9% of the time you will be pressing the blastbones skill right as it becomes available

Always throw the blast bones first because it'll instantly give you a corpse on the ground that you can use for siphon since you get that major buff to your DOT

I use blastbones followed by degeneration after that the mob attacks me force shock. Blastbones again.

You should try swapping healing springs for enduring undeath, it pairs really well with winter’s respite and uses corpse consumption plus it’s a strong spammable burst aoe heal.

A really good set for MagNecro is the Mother’s Sorrow set. The overland set from Deeshan I do believe. Gives bonus spell crit. For the helm and shoulders I use the ice heart set for the shield when criting

just to throw it out there... the mystic siphon skill also damages creatures between you and the placement (I.e. enemies in the stream), so if it lands far away from the main grouping, you can run around and still do damage.

I adore playing necromancer, it's fantastic for playstyles that focus on multitasking. My current build makes nearly every button I press do _at minimum_ three things at once, so all of my rollouts can support my team with heals AND buffs AND resource regen AND exterminate crowds of enemy mobs at the exact same time.

I'm playing a solo Magicka Necromancer as my first character. Loads of fun! And this guide really helps tie together some loose ends for me. The corpse mechanics can be pretty tricky, and I'm still not used to ricochet skull's animations.. haha

tip for sustainability: use spirit mentor. It creates a corpse once it ends, then Use that one ability that Heals u When u drain a corpse body and continue fighting rinse and recycle and you’ll live longer.

Since these days double dagger is the best dps for magicka, it makes corpse usage easier. Playing in melee range means that the corpses will be right at your feet. This also gives blastbones a consistent timing since it isn’t traveling varying distances

It speeds it up and it's just generally a good tactic for all characters. Do you NEED to? Not for the most part. In my early days I never really weaved attacks much and I was able to do most content.

Thanks for the vid. The auto target of siphon to blast bones has a very short timer. If you recast blastbones before casting siphon it will cancel the target, otherwise its maybe 2 or 3 seconds before the target is lost.

I made one not quite knowing how to build one and accidentally morphed my flaming skull into the poison one that uses Stam instead of Magicka. I find it useful to switch between mag and Stam at will but if someone has a good beginner build please comment it. I'm soloing the game pretty well but I doubt this will fly in a dungeon. I had a champion nightblade but got locked out of my account on Xbox live (forgotten Microsoft password)

I just created a necro..kajiit Should be fun Something I noticed is u can do like a hybrid on necromancer using stam on some skills and mag on others. Hes only lvl 6 though and I'm taking it slow with him. Seems very fun. Great video!! Thank you for making these!

Did I miss something or is skeletal mage actually the only raise the dead ability (the ult is a revive not a bring allies back as zombies so doesnt count) as a necromancer fan I'm just disappointed raising the dead is such a rarity. You barely get to play them in games and when they add them they feel under utilised. I get this is good and has lots of useful abilities but they don't feel related to necromancy at all. Okay rewatched theres about 4 I mean that's better than I thought I just wanna be a summoner. I guess I'll get this seems like I'd enjoy this class more than others for sure

You got the ult colossus, the skeletal mage, the healing spirit and blastbones. The ult is a very short duration but really cool, the mage and healer last like 10 seconds i think and you will be constantly summoning blastbones to do damage so you'll be constantly having 2 to 3 undead summoned and occasionally a giant flesh colossus! That looks like a mini undead army to me! :3

@@KM-jb3vg Im on ESO right now and it says Stalking Blastbones IV does 8717 flame damage to all nearby enemies and that damage can increase from 10% to 50% depending on how far it travels. While Ricochet Skull does 5230 flame damage to one target and every third cast does 20% increased damage and will bounce up to 2 times to other enemies. So the Stalking Blastbones does more damage and it has about the same casting speed and you can spam it while spamming Ricochet Skull since it takes about 2.5 seconds to detonate. If combat wont last 2.5 seconds, use Ricochet Skull If it will last 2.5 seconds or longer, use Stalking Blastbones as well.
