Your tree skirt has a look of fluffy snow under the tree. It's beautiful. 😊

Trying this pattern for a midi skirt, not a tree skirt. Thanks! It’s the only pattern I could find that fit my inspiration❤

Hello your tree skirt is beautiful I have a question could you use any size worsted weight yarn thank you have a wonderful day today ❤

That might work! You would want to start with a longer starting chain though - any even number - I would guess maybe 40? Then you can follow the same pattern in the video! You will just have more stitches than this version, but the pattern will be the same 😊

Hi, I am starting this pattern (thank you!) and my skirt is coming out wavy -- it will not lay flat (i was unable to find the jumbo #7 wool ease). i am wondering if maybe I am crocheting too tightly? i would appreciate any suggestions!

I am not the original author of the pattern. It seems as the original author has not answered any questions so I will try to help. The yarn you used will not cause it to not lay flat as long as you compensated and use the hook appropriate for the yarn size you used. You can't use the hook for the super bulky yarn if you're using a sport weight or DK yarn. If you're using the right hook for the yarn you purchase, something is happening where you are missing a stitch. Probably somewhere in the peaks and valleys

Love the look of this tree skirt. Can I use the Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick as I can’t find the Lion Brand Wow?

Yes, you could! You may need to add just a little bit to your starting chain though to make up for the smaller yarn size. Maybe try 24 chains? Then, you can follow the rest of the video as is!
