Man I just cannot get over how quickly Lance is progressing. It seems like just yesterday you were having so much trouble just learning to ollie while standing still. Now, you're pretty comfortable doing ollies from a standstill, while cruising, and while going super fast. You're getting better at a pretty much spectacular rate. Congrats man, and keep it up! Haha no matter what Aaron said about coming in straighter, Lance still did the same thing everytime. I think it would've been good to to have some chalk and draw a guideline for him to follow. He was always a foot or more out than he needed to be.

i think a good way to teach some one the angle for a 50-50 is to put cones to guide them where to ollie from, because lance couldnt seem to find the right angle for the most part. the cones would force him to go at the right angle i know its old but just for the future, or if some one else wants to teach some one 50-50s.

So, why would you not just ride up to the bench/ledge whatever and ollie straight onto the thing that you're trying to 50-50? Wouldn't this make more sense mechanically than coming at the ledge from the side and then trying to ollie 'foward' like that? Never understood this.

Maybe its because a lot of street spots you cannot come from the front but I actually find it easier and more comfortable from the side because I feel I can line it up better. Keep skating and if you need help progressing join Braille Army + and Ill coach you

Hey Aaron, noticed in all your videos when you are standing around playing with the board, you pop it with back foot only and get it to do all kinds of flips. As someone who as struggled to get the board to flip accurately in any direction even with forefoot, this is very impressive and kinda mind boggling. How do you get a kickflip motion from backfoot pop only?

I know this is an old video and not very relevant now. However, something I noticed with Lance on the higher 50-50 is how much he is looking at his board leading into the ollie. That seems to be what is causing his angle issue leading into the bench. Maybe laying some tape on the ground as a guide to where and at what angle to roll at while approaching the bench would help Lance or anyone else who is having that problem. Then again this is coming from somebody who hasn't skateboarded in at least 5 years and was never very good, so I could be totally off.

I can ollie stationary or straight while rolling but ollieing onto anything parallel or needing to turn fs or bs a specific amount I can't seem to control. I can fs 180 while rolling but idk if it's in the way you turn your head or shoulders but I'll be turning them and the board doesn't join me in my intentions ha...
