Tucker is so delicate with his teeth and opening the game pieces. Very impressive. Both the boys sure seem to love cuddle time in the morning. So cute and I have to say, these are two of the most cared for babies on KZbin. It really pleases me to see them loved like this.

I never understood why they call these "brain games" when its clearly just a matter of dexterity (or whatever you call fine motor skills with your mouth instead of hands). Dogs are highly intelligent, the challenge is dinky lids only. But it's a fun way to make treat time last a little longer. Tod abd Tucker are, as always, fantastic and so expressive, beautifully groomed and very handsome. ❤️🥰

What a great Brain and Sensory Stimulation Game for them to play, and you could tell Tucker has experience where he's so gentle lifting the flaps with his teeth It's absolutely adorable! Linda I have to admit I am very jealous of how absolutely amazing you are at grooming your golden retrievers, I almost now feel like my Sammy Joseph even though he crossed the Rainbow Bridge was a bit of a hairy man if ya know what I mean, lol. I always took great care of him, but I would trim his nails myself and boy were they thick! They would fling across the room when I'd cut them! I don't know how big exactly Tucker is, but Sammy was for a healthy weight 105 lbs and even when I had him at 6 months old when I got him actually in the classified section of our paper because I was scammed by an online breeder and went to the airport and found NO PUPPY, I guess it wasn't meant to be because I saved Sammy. He was slightly emaciated, when I brought him to his first vet visit I was told that he needed to gain 10 lb and be 60lb and I'm like geez Louise a 60-lb puppy! how big is he going to get!? But because the woman that had him never crate trained him, potty trained him, he never even stepped on the grass, she told me she had to keep him locked in a room because her two boxers would try to fight him which to me was inexcusable.. he had to be carried down the stairs because he never went downstairs before and when I got him she lived on the third floor of an apartment building..I had to COMPLETELY retrain him on EVERYTHING and I just commend everything that you do, you are excellent!! I live in Connecticut, but if I lived near you and had another dog, I would go to you for lessons! Hands down you're just awesome and you make it look so easy. And round of applause to Todd and Tucker for being such good boys!

Puzzle toys are so awesome!! They get us through the winter when it's too cold to go outside other than walks! My 11 year old pitbull, Hope, absolutely loves these games despite her not being food motivated. For Christmas Santa gave her one by Trixie (think Santa got it off Amazon) and a Nina whatever her last name is called Casino something, or something Casino. That was from chewy. She can do all the simple puzzles in seconds, but that casino one is very difficult for her still. It requires lots of steps in order to get the goods!

I showed my dog (a lab with short fur) the process of you dealing with their ears so he starts to appreciate that his getting cleaned out isn't so bad! He doesn't have ear fur that needs shaving.

Dogs are always good and words have meaning. Try saying “good trust” when they trust you to care for their delicate areas. Animals are just as sensitive about their bodies as we are. Try it Linda. Your dog is a very intelligent person and you should acknowledge that he’s not just being a good boy. He’s doing a good job of exercising his trust in you. This works great for trimming a cats nails too. Trust is everything!

I had a 3 pound yorki poo who thought he was a Doberman..evertime he went to get groomed and they went to bathe him...he screamed. His favorite vet vet sang to him . And he loved to get groomed. ❤️

I had 3 mini dachshunds for 17 years and when I gave them something similar to try they all used their front legs and feet to pop it open. They looked like mini hands….its the craziest thing. Dachshunds are ‘badger diggers’ and so I think that’s why they prefer to use the front paws. It’s so cute.❤❤❤

I'd bet it comes from the terrier portion of their mixed terrier/hound ancestry. I've noticed that terriers seem to use their front paws like human hands (or, perhaps, more like cats do) way more than other breeds -- likely because of the tunnel work they were typically originally bred for.
