This is bull shit. There are not that many gumballs. If you count all the gumballs you can see, then double it for a surface area, then add 100 or so for good measure. You can calculate the volume from the surface area and come out with about 1,000 gumballs. The only reason the average came close to the supposed right answer was because 2 people gave outrageously stupid guesses.
