A simple and effective talk imbued in the personal emotional experiences of 2 adults. Terms of synaptic growth and pruning is well understood. Renaissance is well linked to neuro plasticity. Training of kindergarton teachers is the core of learning with emotional development of children.

Additionally, having a consciously positive outlook ("I am doing everything the way I know how, we cannot go back so we must do what we can and that is good enough to continue with a positive attitude about myself and my future") and a small blanket draped over my eyes from above really helps me get through the night. If you take a lot of Vitamin D, and you find you're getting up frequently to go at night, try cutting back. That also helps with sleep. Without good sleep, anyone's mental health can suffer. Also see: 'circadian rhythm'; 'oversleep/undersleep both bad'. :)

Great Talk! Just to clarify...you re saying that childrens' brains are shaped forever...but then they are the subject to plasticity..isn't it a contradiction?
@oldnorth2666

He was being ironic.
@Hkash1
@Hkash1 4 жыл бұрын
The brain is an energy economy! In children, the energy demands by the brain are so high so it's relatively easier to learn and build foundational skills when we are younger. However, that doesn't mean we can't learn when we are older it just means we need to be more FOCUSED more SERIOUS because it will need more energy to change beliefs, habits, and cognitive perceptions. The idea is to start young because it's easier to love and nourish children than fix broken adults.

I listened on this topic 7 years back better panel discussion with evidence and research publications and this person in presentation is claiming his own idea and telling 1% and more claiming on family idea, it is not good to claim on TED I think you should verify first what he is talking.Being a good speaker does not get certificate to lies
